A brave 16 year old boy, ventures into an independant record store. Putting on a brave face, ready for humiliation, he picks up Guns N'Roses 'Appetite For Destruction'. Walks over to the desk, puts it on the counter, recieves a dodgy look from the sales assistant. Appetite for destruction, an album filled to the brim with, exciting,astounding,and technically excellent music. Without the amazing kickstart that this album gave them Guns'N'Roses would have been much later on beginning their trip to becoming the unforgettable Behemoths of Rock that they are now. Any rock fan worth their salt would have to have this album as part of their collection - it's a complete classic. Tracks like Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City, together with Sweet Child O Mine make it one of the best remembered albums ever. ...bit of a disappointment. As for Appetite for Destruction there really is nothing can be criticized. Every track is a true classic, with great musicianship, great production and a great feeling of energy to every track. Listening to this album they really do sound like 'The Most Dangerous Band in the World' as they claimed at the time.
