If you love going to a good gig or rock club and remember spandex trousers and men wearing as much make up as the women then this album is for you. The reason behind this is that Geffen though that if it seemed The EP was under an independent label (Uzi Suicide, which sported a logo drawn by the one and only slash) it would sell better. The album attracted controversy from the start, with the original album cover of a young girl being raped by a robot having to be replaced with the tattoo Axl had on his left arm, which sports the AFD members ...
..."It's so easy" (which is centred around sex and drugs) and Nightrain (a cheap alcoholic drink which the hand used to get drunk off) will have you pondering how an album could ever be as good as Appetite is! You would be a fool not to own this album! ...

This is one of the very few albums that I can listen to for hours, day after day, and never get bored of. It's so upbeat, I find it hard to listen to it without dancing around and feeling my mood lifted! Any time I need a little mood boost I just stick this on the CD player and crank it up. The moment I listened to the first song, nightrain, I was blown away by the super cool riffs and solos of slash and all the other amazing things about the song.
