...releasing two albums B*Witched and Awake and Breathe and eight singles, all of which reached the UK top 20. Their first four single releases actually hit the number one spot in the UK and made them the first Irish group to have their first four singles enter the UK charts at the top. Advantages: 12 tracks, value for money, songwords Disadvantages: based only aroun pop/chart music
The B*Witched album, 'Awake and Breathe' really is a breath of fresh air for the Irish girl - band. The album, which consists of 12 tracks is really good. It is value for money as almost each track lasts over 3 minutes. My personal favourite track is 'Red Indian Girl' as the tune is really catchy. Another advantage of this album is that the cover and inlay are well presented and there are some great pictures of the 'fab four' plus all the lyrics ...

The massively sucessful B*Witched girls produce their second album after the release of 'Jesse Hold On'.
Despite havinbg a hard task to live up to after their 4 consecutive no.1 singles, the girls have done a top job, with a full album of reliable, fun, inspiring, lovely music.
A before, the girls don't like to tie themselves down to one genre, with a little bit of everything in the album, mixed up with classy, more mature, pop.
Despite the ... ...album justice, highlights included the feisty 'The Shy One', psychadelic (if music could be psychadelic) 'leaves' and the touching 'It was Our Day'.
Obviously written from the heart (the girls co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks) it is a gem, despite un-encouraging sales.
An excellently produced album with beautiful artwork, the critics have not done the girls justice.
Quality music with the B*Witched signature sound and spirit. ...

Review of Awake And Breathe - B Witched
Advantages: Makes a great frisbee Disadvantages: makes a terrible album
Awake and Breath, it's like they stole the title of Slipknot's song Wait and Bleed, but like, made it, like, legal. Dude. Anyway, this is a horrible, horrible pop album that should be avoided like the plague. It's pretty much 100% exactly the same as every other girld group out there on the market at the present time. Hopefully this craze will die soon. I wish I was back in the days when rock still ruled. Oh well, too many eight year olds around ...

Advantages: A more mature sound than their first Disadvantages: A couple of rather average songs
The quartet's first album may have been largely bright-eyed innocence with a few more sophisticated tracks added, but the second stir of the cauldron suggests a tougher, more rootsy, even funky group. The album's first single "Jesse Hold On" is a delightfully infectious bluegrass banjo-driven romp that may not have been quite as instantly catchy as "C'est La Vie", but all credit to them for not taking the easy option of retreading past glories ad ... ...and with gutsier numbers like "Jump Down", the more discofied "Mr Superman", and "If It Don't Fit", they have done just that. Though perhaps it was a touch too sombre to be a really huge single, the Ladysmith Black Mambazo collaboration "I Will Be There" certainly grows on you, and the ballads like "Red Indian Girl" and "Are You a Ghost" are classy. The accapella closing track, "In Fields Where We Lay", proves they really can sing. ...
