Back Home was released on 05 November 2007 and is probably my favourite Westlife album so far. Well, this was Westlife's last album before they went on their one year break, and i can definetely say that this is Westlife at their best! The album generally has a good mixture of ballads and uptemo songs. Also a good mixture of covers and originals - yes these boys can write a fabulous song when they want too! Two personal favourites of mine have to be 'Us Against The World' and 'I'm Already There' 'Us Against The World' because it sums up ...
...babies, weddings, families, growing up etc...) and 'I'm Already There' because you can really feel the emotion when Shane and Nicky sing on it (they both have children, and the song is about a father being away from his children) All in all, i have to say i cannot wait for Westlife's return album, and another 10 years!!!!! ...

Another great album of Westlife's. The songs are great, very catchy although it took about 3 listens before I really liked the album. There are 3 cover songs this album. Home, of course, is a Michael Buble song and they do a great version of it, but I personally still prefer the original. The album marks Westlife's come back from the oldies to their real genre. After "The Love Album" i was a bit disappointed but this album made me love them again.
