Advantages: heartfelt lyrics and great music to listen to
Disadvantages: would have liked to have seen a happier song to end the album

...I got an Amazon voucher, Back To Bedlam went into the cart and this time, I have it ripped onto my computer as well. Ha! My fifteen year old's favourite track is Goodbye My Lover, which one of her friends performed at a school concert recently. An amazing debut album that really has put James blunt on the map! A superb collection of 10 songs which are very personal to the experiances of James Blunt. Gets better the more you listen to it. Admittedly some of Blunt's songs have been overplayed on the radio, but if chilled soft rock is your thing then this won't bother you! I'm not the type of person who buys many albums, but after hearing to a few tracks I decided to buy it and see what it was like. I wasn't disappointed. Most people will probably buy this for the excellent, though slightly cliched 'you're beautiful' and 'good-bye my lover', and in terms of chart hits this album is rich, but the real gems are to be found in the lesser known songs.
