I liked some of her songs but have difficulty in understanding the words she sings. mybe its just me but i think i need the words to know what she is saying. and i wish she would take some lessons in hair care because boy doese she need help.

Advantages: Great songs Disadvantages: too little songs
Amy Winehouse is back with a fantastic second album and it is in a different league than her first album 'Frank' is in. Back To Black is more edgier and is quite gritty. Amy writes songs that deal with real life situations and are quite graphic. The standout songs on the album are 'Rehab' , 'You Know I'm No Good' and the best song in my opinion on the album is her latest single 'Back To Black' is the most raw song on the album. Having loved Ms Winehouse's first album 'frank', I was wondering if this would compare. It's all gone in a more soulful direction this time and sounds both retro and original at the same time ( if that's possible.) If you are into any of the really great female vocalists ( sarah vaughan, aretha franklin ) then this album is definately worth a listen. Advantages: Soulful, great rhythm Disadvantages: Can't think of any
I absolutely love this album - the first time I listened to it I was hooked - it sometimes takes a few listens with some CDs but not this one.
It is a mixture of soul, funk and jazz. Love the rhythms of the music - great to do the housework to - get it done in half the time!!

Advantages: Music you can play over and over again Disadvantages: People might get upset because you play it so much
I first heard about the Amy Winehouse CD at work in Canada. My coworker let be borrow it and I found it different and refreshing. I couldn't stop playing it. My coworker had to ask for it back. ...But then I heard Back to Black, and I liked it. I bought the album with very little hope for the album. But now I would class it as one of my all time favourite albums.
