Quick review of Best Dance Album In The World...ever Vol.13, The - Various Artists
A decent listen, but not a CD to set pulses racing, sadly.
There are some classics present here: Rui Da Silva, Groovejet, Daft Punk, DJ Sammy, Ian Van Dahl and N Trance are brilliantly uplifting songs; so much so that they deserve better than to share this CD with the rest.
Whilst the aformentioned artists' songs induce excitement, even ecstacy, the rest bring about nothing but disappiontment, sometimes even a slight cringe. They're the songs that fill up bar queues, but empty dancefloors; songs that make average radio, but average clubbing at best.
