Bigger Better Faster More - 4 Non Blondes

I bought this album on an off-chance, having only heard "What's Up". I was surprised by what I heard, but pleasantly so. Do not expect a whole string of "What's Up" soundalikes! The rest of the tracks have a much more rocky feel, at times sounding like a female-fronted Led Zeppelin, and at others like 70s band Pavlov's Dog. The album opens with a track called "Train", and is then followed by "Superfly", where Linda Perry exclaims "Well I've been ...
...what's the way I like it". The third track is "What's Up" - the one that everyone knows! A brilliant track, and in my opinion the album would be worth it even if the others were terrible! Linda Perry is the singer/songwriter of this 1990 female version of Oasis band. Their music is loud and has a grungy style sound, they would call themselves as being folk-rock, but I would class them as being more grunge, rock and slight touch of pop.
