...though Dizzee Rascal's album- ' Boy In Da Corner' took me so much by surprise I woke up in hospital after receiving CPR. I really wasn’t expecting to be so taken back and overwhelmed by one album alone and this was the one to do it.

There is very little that could have prepared me for Dizzee Rascal’s articulate, piercing, poignant style of rap. Not much could have prepared me for the sheer originality of Dizzee Rascal’s "Boy In Da Corner". Nothing could have prepared me for the intensity in this nineteen-year-olds voice. This has got to be the best album from Dizzee Rascal.
He has his own original style and unique lyrics which can't be compared to any other MC in the UK. Dizzee Rascal grew up in east London and started to get into the music scene by doing his own pirate radio show and Being a DJ in the clubs. The now 21 year old now owns his own recored label "Dirtee Stank Recordings" represented by a logo which he describes as "a lump of shit".
