The only reason i bought this was, simply to take advantage of a 4 CDS for £20 offer in Virgin Megastore. Admittedly I didn't remember half the songs from the film itself, but decicded that i could get quite a few worse CDs for that price and judging by the fact that I liked the soundtrack to the first film, I thought I'd give it a shot. This soundtrack is as great as the first and, as the music intertwines and weaves the characters through their second set of escapades. The music really does encapsulate the mood of the second movie. Each of these musical tracks laid down recreates the mood of this wonderful movie, which one can almost visualise when one closes one's eyes. Review of Bridget Jones's Diary Vol.2 - Original Soundtrack

In my opinion, if you loved the film, you will love the soundtrack! I thought the covers on this album were brilliant, such as Will Young's version of Your Love Is King, and Mary J Blige's version of Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. Some of the songs on this album are very "mushy", but personally I see this as a bonus (let's face it, the film is pretty mushy and girly but that's what we love about it) and there are some more uplifting, upbeat ...
...by The Darkness. The highlight of the album in my opinion, is I Eat Dinner. It is such a beautiful song and I'm so glad they included it in both the film and the soundtrack. I like the fact that the album consists of songs which have been huge hits, aswell as some great songs which most people will not have heard before, not forgtting the amazing covers. Overall, the CD is definitely worth the money, and I would certainly recommend this soundtrack ...
