This release isn't really picking up where previous album 'Available In All Colours' left off, but that is not necessarily a downfall, the vocals are more polished and clean sweeping, the guitaring is also clearer throughout and the record is possibly more accessible to fans of other genres. Opener 'Rise And Shine' is different to how most bands would introduce their most recent accomplishment, ...

Advantages: Something different from sunny England Disadvantages: ???
...after that I had to buy an album, and that album was Buy now... It was released in 2000, after their debut album Available in All Colours.
The music itself stands as proof that British metal isn't dead. In the past few years, we've been rather strapped to find the new sound of British metal, as until recently, we haven't really moved much past the old school metal of Ozzy and Iron Maiden. However, this shows there is hope in the future.
The music ... ...However, it's not just heavy and bland, it's filled with many cool running riffs and fantastic bass lines, coupled with the fantastic voice of lead singer Brian 'Yap' Barry, to make a great new sound.
Songs that stand out on this album for me include the opening track 'Rise and Shine' with a mellow sounding verse and heavy chorus, along with wailing vocals; 'Food for the Brain' opens with some weird guitar effects which are certainly worth listening ...

Advantages: British! Expertly produced, hardcore Disadvantages: Lyrics sometimes a bit repetitive
...Napster, then went on to buy both albums. Buy Now...Saved Later is my favourite. When somebody told me that OMS were British, I couldn't believe it. Superb British metal? Who ever heard of that? However, there is no sign of the stereotypical British people in here.
