...after that I had to buy an album, and that album was Buy now... It was released in 2000, after their debut album Available in All Colours. The music itself stands as proof that British metal isn't dead. In the past few years, we've been rather strapped to find the new sound of British metal, as until recently, we haven't really moved much past the old school metal of Ozzy and Iron Maiden. ...However, it's not just heavy and bland, it's filled with many cool running riffs and fantastic bass lines, coupled with the fantastic voice of lead singer Brian 'Yap' Barry, to make a great new sound. Songs that stand out on this album for me include the opening track 'Rise and Shine' with a mellow sounding verse and heavy chorus, along with wailing vocals; 'Food for the Brain' opens with some weird guitar effects which are certainly worth listening ...

...Napster, then went on to buy both albums. Buy Now...Saved Later is my favourite. When somebody told me that OMS were British, I couldn't believe it. Superb British metal? Who ever heard of that?
