Advantages: Great vocals, Pink's own brand of modern R'n'B Disadvantages: Subject matter is largely similar, some minor swearing
Pink made history in 2000 when she became the first white artist to sign on the dotted line with R’n’B label LaFace. The label, set up by legendary producer Babyface, is home to some of the biggest stars of modern day R’n’B and hip-hop, so she certainly had a lot to live upto. Since being plucked from obscurity she hasn’t looked back, and the fresh faced, vibrantly hair-doed American has gone from strength to strength. ... ...platinum selling album and was recently involved in the fishnet-clad melange of herself, Christina Aguilera, Mya and Lil’ Kim on the number one hit Lady Marmalade. Many ciaoers may only know this magenta-haired diva from her stint on this track, and not from her accomplished and funky debut album. If you are one of these people, your initiation starts here. Pink lists her main musical influence as Madonna, and if her first LP doesn’t ...

Advantages: Lots of big R&B tracks Disadvantages: A couple of tunes let it down
“Can’t Take Me Home” came out as the debut album from the Pennsylvania-born R&B, Rock and Pop singer Pink. This one came out in 2000 and was her breakthrough release as she performed in a style which appeared to fit in more with the Soul influences which she was raised on (which later went more towards the Rock and Pop world) as she got backing from the R&B singer and producer Babyface. 1. “Split Personality” Getting the album going, you have a track ... ...to fit in the style of 1998-2000 R&B, and it draws especially close resemblance to what Kelis was doing around this time and so it was really current in what it does for a decent opening cut as a tune to introduce what this has to offer from her. **Three Stars** 2. “Hell Wit Ya” You see as we move on through the thing, you get one which appears it take on in more influence from one of the people who has come to work on the production of this as this ...

Advantages: Original, phat beats, good lyrics, nice touch Disadvantages: She has pink hair ?
I bought Pink's album about 2 months ago and copied the songs onto my computer straight away. I lent the album out to one of my female friends within about a week of buying it, and I still haven't got it back coz she likes it so much ! Her particular favourite is " Hiccup ".
Pink is mostly known for her to main Uk releases " There You Go " and " Most Girls " which both proved big hits here in the charts. And her most recent release " You Make Me ... ...release increasing her reputation as the undisputed Queen of R'n'B.
Songs which stand out for me are " Split Personality ", " Hell Wit Ya ", " Private Show " and " Love Is Such A Crazy Thing ". All of which I believe will be future contenders for UK number one.
The album is very strong in terms of quality, with each of the songs offering an R'n'B fan that little something. The only song that migh dissapoint is " Stop Falling " which is a very slow ...

Advantages: Great sound, great voice, great lyrics...what more could you want?! Disadvantages: None
No, this isn't an advert for the Pink Panther, but the hottest new r&b sensation, Pink. Being only 19, her voice is absolutely amazing. She has her own style, which is strong, unlike Christina or Britney, who have more 'poppy' voices. Pink's album, 'Can't take me home' shows all of her talents, in only 13 songs. Most people are familiar with her first releases, 'There U Go' and 'Most Girls', which are followed by her successful 'You Make Me Sick'. ... ...is great! If you listen very carefully to her lyrics, Pink covers the everyday issues, for example, sex. It's not talking about it directly, but there is a hidden message in each of her songs. She is also known for talking about men, and how they ruin lives if you let them. 'There You Go' is the best example for this. There are many up-and-coming hits, like 'Hiccup', 'Private Show' and 'Stop Falling', with a range of tempos, from the fast 'Hiccup', ...

Advantages: You can dance along to it, sing along with it and scream along with it. Disadvantages: The 2 sappy ballads.
By now you should have heard the brilliant Top 10 single "There You Go" by this new american artist, well this is her debut album and quite frankly it rocks!. If you're at all into TLC or Destiny's Child then this is exactly the kind of album you'll love. As well as "There You Go" there's a load of similar tracks which are just as good and follow the same formula. These stand-out tracks include "The Hell Wit Ya", "Most Girls", "Can't Take Me Home" ...

Advantages: Excellent Artist Disadvantages: Presentation could have been better
I first got this album from the shop shortly after it was released. This was mainly because I was impressed with her debut single There you go, and expected that to be the main song on the album and the rest to be nowhere near the high levels that her first single was.
I was wrong this album is very very good and if you like any of the releases that have been made by this artist over the year then this must be on your must buy list.

Advantages: UNIQUE style and quality Disadvantages: Some songs sound very similar
...it definitely does her justice. Can't Take Me Home, her debut album, is a bit rough on the male gender- from "Hell Wit Ya" and the new single, "Most Girls", to her first single, "There You Go". The lyrics are very sharp and biting to the ears of many guys, but a powerful reassurance to the ladies- that we aren't meant to be walked all over. However, not all of these songs are a stab at the male species. PINK lets loose her emotional side in "Stop ... ...an excellent display of PINK's vocal power, and a search for what she sees as "true love".
All in all, PINK is a ball of fire who is destined to stick around. Aside from her CD, her stage performance is also one that should not be looked over. She has the energy, the spirit, the dance moves- and most definitely, the HEART- of a true performer. DO NOT miss a chance to be a part of PINK's world! ...

Advantages: It has a good range of songs and a unique style! Disadvantages: There are so many good tunes, which do you listen to first?
Pink, an up and coming RnB artist has won my vote after I first heard her album! The range of songs is amazing and so is her voice range! She has amazing talent and will go far in the music industry if she continues the way she has begun! The album is comprised with an original style and brings RnB to a whole new level, where Pink stands out from the rest! Advantages: Lots of good tracks Disadvantages: Might scare men
'Take Me Home' is a refreshing debut from a young American female singer called Pink. She has just been nominated for a Brit Awards alongside greats like Madonna and deservedly so. When I first heard about Pink, I thought 'not another singer from America' and I lumped her in with Britney, Christina, Mandy and Jessica. Boy was I wrong! Pink is definitely the American Queen in relation to the above four who have a tendency to churn out the same borng ... ...an R n B sassy independent woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. If you're looking for heartfelt ballads this is the wrong album for you. The brilliant 'There You Go' highlights Pink's exceptionally soulful voice and proves that she will be around for years to come unlike Britney who is fast going downhill. 'Most Girls' was her second release which tones things down a bit but is still full to the brim with I hate to say it 'girl power!'. ...

I haven't personally bought this album but have listened to it so many times I can name every track on the CD! At the moment a special UK edition has been realeased with some brilliant new tracks written and sung by the fab PINK herself. The CD is the usual album price of around £12.99 but may I suggest that you can also buy the CD from most 'Sainsburys' stores in the UK at a lower price of £9.99!!!!! The CD is well worth the price! ...

When i first heard Pink's debut, i thought they were a cut above the rest, they are a bunch of classy divas who are destin for the bigtime, there debut album is a must have for all R'N'B fans. There music is of a beat nature and also some of there tracks are slow and mellow. I would recommend this album to anyone that is into R'N'B music, there tracks are very good and the follow up album should be just as good when they release it!

Advantages: Cheers you up and is really well sung. Disadvantages: It can get too repeatative for some people.
This single by Pink i think really compliments her voice and is very catchy yet not over the top. It never gets tiresome and it cheers me up to listen to it. Her voice is very recognisiable and really holds the song well. I would recommend this to anyone who likes chart music especially teenagers/young adults. I would definatly recommend this. Pinks album is also being released with several tracks which is going to take it to the top of the charts!!
