Advantages: Some very relaxing tunes Disadvantages: You don't know what your listening to half the time.
The Chillout Session from ministry of sound is basically what it says on the box, a laid back mix of blissful beats and chilled out house. Now, don’t get me wrong, you may like this album, but it was far to slow for me. The reason I bought it was because I knew a few of the songs that were on it. I was looking for Euphoric Breakdown, which is another kind of chilled out mix compilation album but the shop I was in didn’t have it, so I ... ...the CD is just too slow, maybe a bit too chilled and I just couldn’t get to grips with liking it.
There are a few tracks on the CD such as ‘Rob D – Clubbed to death’ that make an excellent track to play in the background of a lazy evening, or when your lying in bed with your eyes shut, other tracks such as ‘Moby, Sneaker Pimps and york’ also stood out to me. There are 2 discs that come with this chilled out CD. ...

This CD album is one of my favourites out this year! I agree its been a bit over publicised but it really is much better then its many imitators.
The sequel to it is even better, I think you have to listen to it a few times to really appreciate it. Its such a change for someone like me whose CD collection consists of hardhouse, house, trance, garage and any floorthumping music. I guess I like it because it's such a break from the norm. Outstanding ... ...Sneaker Pimps, 'Clubbed to death' by Rob D (which is pumping!), 'Is It Too Late?' by World Party and 'Shoot You Down' by the Stone Roses. There's a track by Basement Jaxx that many will not have heard 'Being with u'. It is a great album to hear a range of bands that you wouldn't otherwise listen to. The only track I'm not sure about is Moby's 'Natural Blues' it doesn't seem to fit with the rest. I admit the mixing sounds a bit odd in places but many ...

Advantages: 2 CDs - smth for everyone Disadvantages: should be sold seperately
Personally, I used to be a great fan of dance CDs, so here I am going to try to give an unbias opinion of a good quality CD released by the Misinstry of Sound (2003). At this point, you should be aware that the Ministry of Sound have not released a "Chill Out Moods" Style CD before, so - this is why you need to listen before you buy!
Here are the best tracks - take this review along to the music store!
CDisc 1
Fatboy Slim feat. Macy Gray – Demons
... ...Rob D – Clubbed to death Moby – Natural Blues

Advantages: Great "background noise" to study to, or for just relaxing. Disadvantages: Towards the end of each disc it begins to drag on a wee bit.
I must confess, I'm not usually a big fan of dance music. There's a time and a place for every thing - dance music shares its particular timeslot with kebabs, Jack Daniels and paying a pound to hang up your coat.
That said, this album surprised me. Generally, if someone says "oh, listen to this..." and I find it's a Ministry of Sound release, I back away - outside of its natural habitat, I find dance music very dull to listen to, and most of the ... ...for instance. Or Alice Deejay.
Somehow I was persuaded to listen to this album - on a long car journey, I think - and was hooked. I bought it the next day.
The tracks aren't consistent throughout, but there are some real gems on here. And if you don't listen too closely, the general ambience this album creates is fantastic.
The titles of the two discs say infinitely more than any amount of description from me, so I'l leave you with them:
Disc ...

Advantages: You are able to chill to this album, has 18 tacks on each CD, it has some mixing in within track as well Disadvantages: Not many Latest tracks on it
...bought the 'Ministry of sound' Chillout session album after seeing it advertised on the T.V, from what was being played on the advert for this album it sounded really good. Well like most Ministry of sound' album they are full of the Beats and chilled house music which is what I like listerning to late at night. But after listerning to it for the first time I was not really that happy with it, it wasn't as good as the made it out to be on the T.V, ... ...you want something just to chillout to then this album is good for that, it has such tracks as:
Badly Drwan boy - the shining
Sneaker Pimps - 6 underground(my favourite track)
Moby- -Natural Blues
York - the awakening
and more just to name a few.
So if you like tracks like these then check this album out. ...

Advantages: An amazing range of blissful beats! Disadvantages: Let me think...hmm........a few strange tracks, but only 1 or 2! They kind of grow on you though
This album is SO good for relaxing and "chilling out." It has 36 "chilled out" beats, that will relax your mind. This album was advertised all over TV a while ago. The advert consisted of 3 girls (lovely i must say) lying on the floor with petals floating down onto them. This advert only featured a few of the albums tracks, and i thought did not show the best tracks it has! Anyway, you will know what i mean when i say that whenever you buy an album, ... ...songs you like on it. You then take the album home and listen to it, and what do you get, absolute rubbish except for those songs that you recognised! Well i can assure you, this album is for chilling you out, and believe me, it CHILLS me good! I bought this album as i felt i needed to listen to something whilst studying, so i looked about and found this. The title, (very cunning!) caught my attention, so i thought, what the heck ill buy it! Anyway ...
