The albums title track is something that would easily feel at home on either of the bands first two releases, delivering the same uplifting happy pop-rock that had made them household names throughout homes worldwide. I found myself doubting that there truly was any surprise to be had, little to know that a couple of tracks down the line I would meet an unhappy moment.

...In the case of ‘The Chronicles Of Life and Death’ there are to be two separate releases, one incorporating life art, whilst the other features death art. Apart from that one minimal difference, the only other point to make is that the final ‘bonus’ track on each version is different, therefore leaving you with a choice.
Having heard the album on MTV’s ‘The Leak’, I can honestly say that it has made me even more of a Good Charlotte fan than I already ...

Advantages: Impressive vocals, top notch production, plenty of diversity Disadvantages: Some lyrics are kinda dire, the dramaticism and FX could prove a matter of taste
...ones. I was worried that Chronicles would be more of what I hadn't liked about the preceding album - Hold On and Girls & Boys did not thrill me in the least. And to be honest, Predictable merely revived the Good Charlotte fan within me, but my interest was held back by that dodgy rap.

Advantages: lyrics from songs are all easy to relate to Disadvantages: I just wanna live, not a great song
...it's very dramatic.
Next is the chronicles of like and death. Starting off "You come in cold, you're covered in blood, they're all so happy you've arrived" Sounds slightly depressing but it's not, it's really upbeat and you can't help but dance little in your seat as you listen.
Walk away is next on the tracklist, this is one of my favourites on the album, a song about regrets and fears, the lyrics in the chorus,"Well maybe I'm just scared, To face ...

This album is great. I went to see them in concert for this CD and it is that good that they sound just as brill on the CD as they do live. This is a must have for all good Charlotte fans with amixture of some of there newer songs

Good Charlotte - The chronicles of life and death, well where do i start! This is one of their best creations so far just after an additon to their 4 member band they release this great album. 15 excellent tracks including ' Meet my maker' a bonus on some of the CDs. I've loved listining to this album and i've had it for ages now, still can't turn it off!
You can find the lyrics in the inside sleeve which can't be found anywhere else as Epic records ...
