...at the Astoria on there City of evil tour, it is clear in my mind that bands like this do not get enough credit for the hard work they put in to albums like this, and performing their set night after night with gusto and perfection. This Is the the new Avenged sevenfold. The old more aggressive vocal are gone, replaced with more melodic vocals. This is quite different from the other albums, but still retains the same aura the band has maintained throughout out its lifespan. The opening track 'Beast & the harlot' kicks in with a instantly engaging tune, and jsut gets better by the second, and keeps you intrested, it is followed by song after song of pure gold. ...a fantastic album so when City of Evil came out, I wasn't sure how they could improve. From the beginning to end, City of Evil rocks!..epic riffs, riduculous drumming and harmonic singing.
