I was surprised when I saw this album. I never thought that Linkin Park will sing together with Jay-Z. But I liked very much their songs. Numb / Encore is my favourite. overall I would say this is an amazing compilation, both Jay-Z and Linkin have done a great job encorporating some of their best tracks, this is a must buy for any fan, and been a fan of both I had to rush and buy this before it sold out. its not just a good album its one you can listen to many times and not become bored. Advantages: an innovative experiment into how Hip-Hop, Rap and Nu Metal can be merged
Disadvantages: some of the origional Linkin' Park songs have been degraded.

This CD is a good mix of two very different music genra's. For many die-hard Linkin Park fans this album is a disapointment, some of the new version's dont do the origional songs any justice. However for all the other Linkin Park fans who like both types of music and enjoy Jay-Z's own music then this collaboration has prooved to be very well loved. I got this album when it first came out as i just new that taking my two favourite music icons would be a success. This cd is fantastic. It brings rock (LINKIN PARK) and Hip Hop (JAY-Z) together brilliantly. You cant help but move to it. It is great for listening to in the car, although I should stress that it is not a good idea to listen to it at full volume outside of your childs school as the language is a bit harsh. Being a fan of all types of music, I was curious to listen to this album, as Hip Hop and heavy rock don't really mix. I purchased this item off the internet, and I was pleasantly surprised. This album is really good. The mixture of Jay-z's lyrics and the musical tones from Linkin Park compliment each other fantastically. This is like the mixing of Brandy and Baileys, the thought isn't too appealing but the result......well. This should be the next inclusion in the all time top 100 albums, what has got to be almost as surprising as Eminem and Elton John getting together, these artist have created a classic that sounds like they formed together. This is a superb album. It's unbelievable to see the arguable titans of hip hop and heavy metal mixing their talents together to produce this delightful orgasm to the ears. I would recommend anyone to buy this although it is more likely to engage with younger listeners. Quite a lot of strong language in lyrics but I believe it adds depth to the music.
