    Advantages Advantages A Classic Album

Disadvantages Disadvantages She can make you feel inadequate girls...

Just what is it about Shania Twain? Ok, so she’s beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful. She has a classic face – oh, and a figure to make any woman reach for the Slim Fast. Watching her display her flat, brown belly in faded blue jeans is enough to make us mere mortals weep. Even though she has just presented her hubby (Record Producer Mutt Lange) with a baby, you can bet she will be back in those blue jeans before Twain junior is sleeping through the night. Shania has had some very hard times in her life. Her parents were killed in a car crash when she was 21 and Shania raised her ... more

    Advantages Advantages Feel good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Shania Twain's award winning album Come On Over is a classic with every track a hit (or worthy of being a hit) and is worth buying (only £9.99 at Sainsbury's) for the feel-good value of the album. Although Shania is a country and western singer, a lot of her songs are mainstream so don't be concerned about ruining your street cred by listening to her! Shania appeals to the young, the old, men, women and all nationalities. Come On Over is her 3rd and best album by far but once you get into her sound then her older albums like The Woman In Me may appeal to you. The most well-known of the 16 ... more

Advantages Advantages Great music, inspiring, meaningful

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The song impressed me so much that I have still not gotten over my addiction. It has been a chartbuster for a really long time. Canadian singer Shania Twain is one of my favorite artists. This song is from her 1997 album ‘Come on Over’. It is perhaps her biggest single in the UK. The song has been written by Robert Lange and Shania Twain. I love the lyrics of the song. Believe it or not, it has had an inspiring effect on me. I started to express myself better after listening to the song. The song empowered me in quite a few ways. ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ has played a role in defining ... more

Advantages Advantages It's beautiful and full of deep feelings

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some of my feelings are supposed to stay buried!

Ok, I like this album because it's never failed to put me in an 'everything will be OK' mood. No matter what I’ve had thrown at me, I’ve always felt better about my life after listening to it. It’s full of upbeat numbers and soppy ballads, guaranteed to sort me out at least! TRACK LIST: Man I Feel Like A Woman (03:54) This song is so cool!!! I feel proud to be a woman when hearing this because it's full of good feelings about my gender!!! Women have a ‘prerogative to have a little funning’ and they’re no reason to feel whorish about being flirty! (Old-fashioned values and annoying people ... more

Before I decided to buy this album that was recommended to me by a friend, I absolutely hated any type of country and western music. But I have been turned around by this album and this amazing singer. Not only has she got an amazing voice, but she is lucky to be so attractive too! The album will last you ages and never seems to become boring! It is quite old now for modern day music, but this is worth buying still. But why is Shania Twain in the rock/pop section?... ... more

Advantages Advantages Smooth delivery of songs with rythmn

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Too few albums

I guess Shania Twain must be one of the most enduring artiste these days. With her stunning looks and smooth voice, no wonder she is one of the most popular singer around the globe. After listening to several songs on her "Come on over" CD, I very much loved to hear the pieces over and over again, esp. the "You're the Only", "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man I Feel Like A Woman" songs. However, the no. of albums she recorded is on the low side. I hope that she can produce more for our listening pleasure. ... more

Advantages Advantages Great voice, great songs

Disadvantages Disadvantages Definately a mood album

This album was my first (and so far only) experience of buying something on the internet. Well, I say buying, I actually got it on the cokeauction site last year. I'd heard a lot of Shania's singles and the album had been doing pretty well in the charts , so I thought, "Heck, I'll have a bid for that". Needless to say, I was one of the ones that got a copy. The album is also my first Country purchase, and although it's a good album, it's not one that I can stick into my walkman and sing along to. Oh no, this album is too unhappy for me to be able to do that. That's not to say that there aren't ... more

    Advantages Advantages Overall First Class!!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Before I bought Shania's album, Come On Over, I didn't country music whatsoever. I'm still not a fan of all country music, but she got me a lot more open minded about it. The entire album is full of fantastically sung, either foot tappin' upbeat songs, or slow, emotion filled slower tracks. All songs are easy to sing (or warble in my case!) along to, and are brilliantly written, sung and produced. Since buying that first album I have gone on to buy her first ever album produced, currently in the shops, "Wild And Wicked" and another album, which I have to admit I'm not quite sure what it is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lovely music.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I would have wrote an op on the amazing album a lot earlier but I've been to busy listening to it. It has beautiful mellow songs to beautiful country rock. I'm not a big fan of country music but when I first heard this album I loved it. Shania Twain really impressed me because I don't really listen to that kind of music and she made me love it. Shania Twain is from America, I'm not sure where. Her parents died in a car crash and she had to look after her family, by doing this she had to put her music ambitions out of the way. After some time she started to sing again at local bars and clubs. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages it's great!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none!

This is an entirely brilliant album. It's good to see someone making something positive out of country music! And I would kill to look like her. She has been blessed with every talent needed by a singer today It's great how she can turn what I thought was an album filler ("Don't Be Stupid") into a top tune. The best song on the album....well it has to be a cat fight between "That Don't Impress Me Much" (which was one of my favourite songs of 1999) and "Man! I Feel Like A Woman", the two most uptempo numbers on the album. However, Shania can also 'do the ballad thing' admirably, with "You're ... more
