OVERVIEW The return of the queen of pop is indeed a welcome one. This album while not as strong as Ray of Light and Like a Prayer is a marked improvement on American Life (madonna's least selling album ever). At first i didnt like this album, but after hearing it repeatedly at work, i decided to buy it and now i really like it. I really do think it's one of those albums that grows on you, and most people will find something that they like on this cd. Even being an overly critical music-buff, I can safely say that this album can be enjoyed as long as the songs are not taken too seriously on their musical merit, but instead enjoyed for their catchiness ...

Most of you will be familiar with the songs 'Hung Up' and 'Sorry' - so I will simply say about these songs that they deserve to be the hits that they were! What can I say, this album is just so Madonna, just when you think she has disappeared out she comes re-invented and with fresh music. She has re-invented disc, all the songs are catchy, some of them could have been better. Compared to most other 'disco' albums out there this one I would recommend. This is a great album to get you in a 'happy up for it out for the night' kinda mood. However, the lyrics can be a bit of a let down (a lot of critics have slated them and after listening to the album I have to agree that some of them suck!) but only if you're hanging on every word - the music is so good that it's unlikely you'll be paying the words any attention anyway.
