A very personal album from Usher and although the album has clean lyrics, I wouldn’t recommend children listening to the album. It is about a relationship which has just broken down over Ushers' infidelity. Usher confesses that he had an affair with another girl whom he believe he has got pregnant. Confessions part 2 - I’m for ever dancing and singing to this song as its one my favorites! I must tell you that whatever he says in his songs aren’t true; although they based on something else (he just exaggerates)! it's all about him confessing about his girl on the side has become pregnant with his baby and he’s regretting everything and he’s found out that he’s now definitely lost his girl for good. Burn- This is another of ... ...all about him wanting a girl to send him a message or anything because he wants to be seduced by this girl.
Confessions part 2 remix and this is as good as the original but more up beat! And it’s exactly the same as the first confessions part 2. ...

Advantages: the kind of album you can listen to from beginning to end Disadvantages: only the cover could be better!!
...men can relate to his confessions given through his songs - as no doubt many will have commited one or two of these 'crimes' that they need to confess to! Plus females have heard these types of confessions before... except in this album Usher brings these confessions to music and makes them sound good and almost any of the confessions he sings about sound apologetic and you would forgive your man!!! it's great to weep along to the sounds of 'burn' ... ...dance about to tunes like 'yeah' the kind of track you and all your friends can bounce in the middle of a club - or the middle of your living room - to! All in all a fantastic album i'll purchase for all my friends if they haven't already bought it by christmas! ...

This album has no disadvantages as all the songs are great. My mum even likes it , shes stolen it of me and put it in the cd player of her car! This is a great dance album and soul album as theres a mixture of songs and quite a few at that! This album isnt really too expensive its good value. You can get it in alot of shops.
And come on girls you know he's really good looking (thers a pic of him in the bath) (oh kinky)
This album is the best album ... ...album ive heard before. Its originality is overwhelming, its lyrics are so touching and the quality is unbelievably fantastic i cant express to you enough how great this album is. If your going to buy an album today buy this one its suitable for dance party , dinner party and afternoon tea with the girls! So dont be an air head pull yourself together go out there and buy the album

This album is by far the best and catchiest out of Usher's other albums. I, personally, really admire the fact that he's written about his own personal experiences because it takes a lot of guts to let people into your personal life like this. There's some really catchy dance-like songs, great chill out tracks, and one or two ballads. I'm quite a big fan of ballads, so for me the only thing that's missing is maybe a couple more ballads, but this ... ...also a slight comedy element to this album (from my perspective) because a number of songs are written about sex; one in particular ('That's what it's made for') is really obvious, so not one to play in front of parents or young children (trust me, in the case of children it raises far too many questions!) For me, one of Usher's talents in his writing is that his songs also appeal to people who wouldn't normally go for r 'n' b type music (like me). ...

...biggest hits of 2004 ( confessions part 2, yeah, and burn) and they are all different but equally as meaningful. Another great song that has not been released yet is superstar part 1 and 2. Its one of the songs that you will know you wont get out of your head for days and it will really annoy you but you will still love it! The weak links in this album are Can you handle it, simple things, and truth hurts as they all sound the same but even those ... ...limited edition which does not cost anymore but includes the big hot My Boo where he dueted with alicia keys! That song would have made a good album even better. The front cover is quite dark but has a picture of usher looking fit so its all good. It cost 12.99, but i think it only costs 9.99 now!! ...

..."the guilt" which would be confessions part one and two and ofcourse the realisation of your ways which is simple things.
Never have I heard an album where you get all the true sides of a person. This album is honest and very well written.
The fast songs are absolutely contagious and will have you humming all day. The slow songs really hit you, as there is so much meaning.

...slow seductive songs like Burn, Confessions part II and My Boo this album manages to show the versatility and already obvious talents of Usher.
The CD includes the long overdue (in my opinion) collaboration between the prince and princess of R'n'B: Usher and Alicia Keys. Other high profile artists adding their input include king of crunk Lil' Jon, Ludacris and Jadakiss.

Confessions pt1:
Is more like an intro to Confessions pt2 but still great. The beat is great, and personally I wish they made a full length track out of it. "every time i was in L.A. i was with my x-girlfriend, everytime u called i told u "baby im working.." thats part one of his confessions.

Advantages: Soulfull, Meaningfull album Disadvantages: Difficult task to live up to previous album
...write these songs, notably in confessions part two, where he admits to cheating on his girlfriend (chilli from TLC) and the pain that incident occurred and then the track Burn and obvious emotional track. But he also still keeps some upbeat tunes with the help of Lil John in Yeah, a huge club hit. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a good album, and that Usher is an extremely talented young man, but the success of 8701 may of been a slight ... ...to reach that "X Factor" that 8701 had but none the less still is an album that will get you listening to it over and over again.
I would recommend this album to any RnB fan, as Usher without a doubt the one of the best at what he does! ...

ive never been a big fan of usher so when my friend brought me his album i wasnt to sure about it but after listening to it i have found that it is an excellent album with a great selection of songs on it and alot of them i can releate to .
usher's songs seem to be about things that happen in everyday life which is why i think this cd is so good and alot of the songs make you think about things thats happening in your life but at the same time makes ... ...you .
there is also some really uplifting songs on this cd and i'd say theres something for everyone on this cd all's i can say is usher's album is excellent and if your going to buy any cd buy this one because the quality of the songs wont dissapoint you and its really excellent ...

I like the originality of all the tracks , he is still using guitars but not to a point of becoming commercial pop.
