I have been a massive fan of John Mayer ever since i can remember, and this album certainly hasnt ruined my image of him as one of the most talented singer/songwriters of our time. ...the CD has got to be Gravity purely because its such a simple song but has so much meaning behind it. It focuses on telling listeners to stay 'where the light is' i.e in happines. Its got an amazing beat to it as well courtesy of Steve Jordan who's an amazing drummer. This CD is incredible and takes pride of place on my ipod playlist. Review of Continuum - John Mayer

As a previous John Mayer fan I jumped at the chance to pick up his newest album. To say I was disappointed is perhaps an overstatement, it was, for want of a better word "ok". However it wasn't up to his usual standard. That said, the lyrics, musical arrangement and beat of "Waiting on the World to Change" is fantastic. Continuum being John Mayers Third album it is clear to see how much his sound has developed over the past 5 years. Continuum shows Mayers enthusiasm for blues and the revival of blues. In the album he covers an old Hendrix number called " As bold as Love" .
