Advantages: an amzing album packed full of new styles and sounds Disadvantages: Brody's voice maybe a bit to new for old punk rockers.
...now with there third album, Coral Fang (2003) is amazing. The Distillers are getting more and more publicity ,so set the trend because they're going to get much bigger. With Brody's unique vocals burning throughout the entire album.

In my opinion this has been the distiller's best line up with the drummer gaining much credit. Brody Dalle brings her Distiller boys along for the outing of their third album, ‘Coral Fang’, which sees a departure from their previous hardcore punk-rock style.

Advantages: good lyrics good songs, still brody but... Disadvantages: its not the hardcore punk we know and love.
This is the thrid album for the distillers and the first for a major record label. I think this might explain why the music has gone for a more catchy mainstream feel to bulk up the sales numbers. Fronted by Brody Dalle, australian born and damn right GORGEOUS!!! her voice is heaven and this album does allow for more of that to come across than in past albums. A much softer album but you can still imagine writhing punk masses so theres still hope.

Gritty punk with the most fabulous laydee in all of rock-world! Brody Dalle is at her true best on this album, and shows no mercy! The lyrics are raw, the riffs are gritty, and the bass id truly astounding - all together, the combination is utter bliss! Brilliant in every way, shape and form... I cannot fault this! Definately recommended! 10/10
