This album is definately not Satriani at his best - However thats not to say that this is a poor album. The album still contains classic satch attributes with its many hard hitting riffs and it's techniqual and melodic solos although he also experiments with new characteristics such as funk and electronic styles. Joe demonstrates on this album his versatility in style . He presents a wide range of styles going from the more gentle sounds of "Love ...
...like "Lights Of Heaven" and "Crystal Planet". For me, the tracks which stood out where "Crystal Planet", "Love Thing", "Train Of Angels" "Lights Of Heaven" and "Ceremony" which are all great examples of Satriani's outstanding work and would certainly enter the favourites of many Satriani fans .
