Advantages: A few big tunes Disadvantages: Nothing apart from the singles are worth listening to
“Curtis”, a self-entitled release, was the third official solo effort from the Queens, New York rapper 50 Cent in 2007. It was a pretty significant one of the time as its release was built up as one that would have 50 square up against Kanye West for sales against his “Graduation” release. As it went, commercially, Kanye beat him, and although predictably, 50 Cent didn’t quit as he said he would if he lost the sales war, he did still have something ... ...in 2005). 1. “Intro” 2. “My Gun Go Off” He takes things to a predictable place as he begisn the album and turns straight to the gun raps as he does the whole Gangsta Rap thing and comes with lots of murder talk. It does very little for him and offer nothing new whatsoever, so it sounds a bit pointless and starts this, his third, album to a rather weak start as he does something that all expect and does it all of rather plain production (especially ...

There are two ways to look at 50 cent's recent music, good music which appeals to the masses, or cheap, bubblegum hip hop. Before the brilliant 'Get rich or die trying', ... ...york city hip hop, but hip hop across the united states. We were promised no more bubblegum rap and his debut album did not disappoint. 2 Years later, it seems that mr.jackson has gone back on his word with the release of 'the massacre' with more commercial songs such as candy shop, just a lil bit, so amazing, build you up and outta control. Although he had several massive hits and undoubtedly produced an album which would not only satisfy rap fans ...

Advantages: Consistently great production; A handful of fun material Disadvantages: Uninspired; uncreative; weaker hooks than previous albums; boring
...The three big singles on Curtis to me, aren't really that big. Am I wrong to remember "I Get Money" as Floyd Mayweather's Pre-Wrestlemania 24 theme song? The song really failed to make a splash, but make no mistake, it's hot. In fact, "I Get Money" is probably the most "classic-50" sounding single from the album. Producer Apex takes Audio Two's "Top Billin" with synth-guitars and thumping bass. Is it "commercial"? Oh yes. Is it hot? Oh yes! Then ... ...song. The majority of Curtis is what you'd expect; counterfactual gangsta rap and casuistic cautionary tales. Make no mistake, we saw this on The Massacre and Get Rich or Die Tryin' but the difference is - those were bangers. "My Gun Go Off", "Man Down", "I'll Still Kill", and "Curtis 187" are epic failures when compared to "What Up Gangsta", "Heat", "Ski Mask Way" or "In My Hood". "My Gun Go Off" serves as the album opener and features Curtis' gun-toting ...

Advantages: Some Amazing Tracks which have a long lifespan. Disadvantages: Some tracks are "typical" 50 cent tracks, don't really push the boundries any further.
...* 16. Curtis 187
* 17. Touch The Sky-Feat. Tony Yayo
* 18. Hustler's Ambition [Bonus Track]
Tracks : **STANDARD EDITION** SAME AS ABOVE WITHOUT TRACK 18.
Track Reviews:
1: Great intro, sound like a couple of welsh gangsters.
2: Standard 50 cent track, great beats in background, if you like your music bassy this is for you. Personally sampling of gun noises isnt to taste.
3: great use of piano and syth noises. 4rd favourite track. Great lyrics.
... ...ive heard. however to my knowledge he doesn't say Convict! :D
5: EXCELLENT TRACK! 2nd best of album! Good variety of drums, great "i get money" acapello used for chorus.
6: Very catchy chorus, can't help but sing along, listened to this track 20+ times and still growing on me.
7: SINGLE of the CD. Featuring the infamous timberland and timberlake team (however no Nelly furtado). Obviously my favourite track of the CD, love the lyrics and beat. ...

Advantages: about 5 good songs Disadvantages: The songs and some of the beats are weak
I like 50 cent but honestly the best album that he ever made was "Get rich or die tryin'. This album is a little weak, the best songs that he has on this album is "I get money". On this album even the beats were a little weak, they were not as good as they were on "get rich or die tryin'. The best beat on this album is from the song "I get money", "fire", "amusement park" "ayo technology", and "peep show". If you are a 50 cent fan than maybe you ...
