Advantages Great dance tunes, original beats and instrumentation

Missy Elliott is one of the most talented singer/rappers in the music world. Timbaland is one of the best, most innovative writers/producers to come out of the R&B world for a long time. Together they make an awesome team who make music which is original, entertaining and full of attitude. Da Real World is Missy’s second album, the first being the brilliant ‘Supa Dupa Fly’, which itself was an album of hip-hop/soul that had a sound I for one had never heard before. Advantages Slick Production, Great Lyrics, Excellent Rapping, Great Melodies.
Disadvantages A clean version would've made this album more widely appealing

Missy's second album hit Europe after the success of her Duet with Scary Spice/ Melanie B "I Want You Back", which hit #1 in the UK. Funnily enough, Scary Spice hasn't managed a #1 since.. Why? Because she hasn't worked with Missy since. Missy's profile is currently very big in the UK. She has just had her biggest (Solo) Hit to date with "Get UR Freak On", taken from her forthcoming album "Miss E ... So Addictive" which missy will drop 14/5, 2 weeks to go! Disadvantages You don't want to rinse the tunes too much or they'll annoy you!

is the name of the new album, which I can't wait for! Da Real World has just made me hungry for more Missy tracks, because this woman along with Timberland is a genious! I don't know how they come up with such dope tracks, just when you think that they can't produce anymore original tracks..your very mistaken! Da Real World is an excellent collaboration of pure rnb and raw talent! Missy's out there representing and showing the male rappers how its done! Advantages Great singing (not by missy though!)
Disadvantages Not great rapping, some lyrics very repetetive

You may know her from the hit song "I want you back", when she rapped by Mel B's side a few years back. But that isn't her only fame. Featuring such tracks as "hot boys", and "all 'n my grill" *. Although not many tracks brought out in the UK to bring to head her album, these are probably the 2 tracks that drew me to the album in the fist place, and are definatly high-lights. With many guest artists such as Eminem, Redman, Big Boi (of Outkast), and lil Kim playing a bit part in it, it definatly makes the album more desirable. This may not appeal to hip hop fans, because it is mostly R&B beats ... more

This album is Missy's best offering to date. She collaborates with many well-known, talented artists to provide an album thats has elements to suit any mood. Her collaboration with Aaaliyah provides the sexy element, while her collaboration with Eminem provides the pop/mainstream element. I think the track "Hot Boyz" is fabulous, however I prefer the remix with Nas, Eve and Q-Tip. I was a little disappointed that this was not included in the album. Overall, this album is excellent and better than the first. Missy provides her trademark solid beats to perfection. I would recommend this album to ... more
