Advantages Some brilliant songs, Beyonce has geniune talent.
Disadvantages Loses it's appeal half way through, some very disappointing collaborations.

I‘ve always liked Destiny’s Child’s music, so when I heard the three members were all taking a break to pursue solo careers it was quite obvious that Beyonce’s album would definitely be the most popular. Anyway I’ve no interest in Michelle’s album as I just don’t like her voice, but Kelly on the other hand produced a great album, which I enjoyed listening to. It was a hit but as soon as Beyonce released this, everybody had forgotten about Kelly Rowland’s album “Simply Deep”. Dangerously in Love is the debut solo album of American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles, released on June 24, 2003 by Columbia Records. Aside from blending R&B and soul genres in the album, Knowles explores into hip hop and Arabic music, influenced by the album's record producers and featured guests. Housing a combination of uptempo songs and ballads, the album had mixed reactions, many of whose critics approved the former and dismissed the latter. Disadvantages most songs dull and even a bit boring

She was born in 1981 and is best known for her participation in the group Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups in the world. When Destiny’s Child announced that they were taking a break to concentrate on establishing solo careers, everyone assumed that it would be Beyonce who was first off the mark with a solo album. But her fellow bandmates beat her to it, with both their albums proving huge successes while Beyonce’s debut solo single, Work It Out (the theme to Austin Powers 3) did not make the significant impact that everyone expected. As a member of Destiny's Child Beyonce has had huge success and has emerged as a fine songwriter and the main woman behind the bands success, Beyonce cousin Kelly Rowland and fellow band mate Michelle Williams have both released successful solo albums but neither compare to the sales of Beyonce's Dangerously in love. On Dangerously in Love, her solo debut, Beyoncé reveals a heretofore-unseen range of depth and musical styles. And unlike other pop or soul singers, it shows her confident enough in her ability that she doesn't have to stretch notes like they were taffy to prove her chops. Beyoncé lets the vibe dictate her approach, never once bowing to the Mariah Carey-ish temptation to stamp her forceful personality all over the proceedings. Advantages Really Shake Your Bum To It

Beyonce's first solo album is amazing, and she has already shown she is an amazing singer by getting lots of famous people to do duets with her. On this album Beyonce has managed to cover nearly every musical base from dancefloor to soul-ballad means that there is barely a track here with any distinctive identity or even a tune. The lead single from this album has got to be Crazy in Love, and it stayed in the charts for weeks, however other songs such as Naughty Boy and Work It Out also shone out of this album. Lets just hope if she realeases a second album it will be as good as this one ... more

Disadvantages Some Annoying Tracks

Dangerously In Love was released in 2003 by superstar artist Beyonce, it was her first solo album and has some great, and other no as good tracks on it that feature lots of other great celebritys such as Sean Paul, Missy Elliot, Jay Z and many more. You can buy this album in most good music stores for around £5-£10 at the moment which is a great deal as it is such a fun album. Here is the track listing for this album: 1.) Crazy In Love 2.) Beyonce was one third of Destiny's child who where world famous and ahve had numerous number ones all over the world which include songs like Inderperndent women. Then the bad decided to go their sepearte ways and this is Beyonce's go at having her own album!! Album titles Dangerously in love inclused the tracks :- 1. Crazy in love (Featuring Jay - Z) This is an awsome song and Beyonce defintely knows how to work if you have seen the video who know what i mean.
