The tracks often blend in to one another, so it seems to be a whole album that is linked, the songs continuing on through the tracks, rather than the stop / start approach of most modern albums. I bought this when it first came out, and it was very nicely packaged with posters and stickers designed by Hipgnosis and the minimalist prismatic cover. On first listen I was disappointed as the only tracks that I thought were any good were Time and On The Run. I'm not a great fan of Pink Floyd owning only two of their albums, but 'Dark side of the moon' is one of my favourite all time greatest pieces of musical work & arguably their best work to date. Look at the facts, it was released in 1973 & featured on the USA Billboard top 200 album chart for a staggering 741 weeks, which is over 14 years!!! It's also the fifth best selling album in the world, so any album that sells that well & stays in the charts ...
