Advantages: Variety of songs and artists. Disadvantages: ??
Dawson's creek, a drama series about 5 teenagers (6 till Andie left, sob..sob) has an amazing soundtrack. While watching I always seem to find myself thinking how perfectly the songs were chosen to match each scene and also how much I would love to have some of the songs on Cd so I could sing along with them. Now I can and so can you, with Dawsons Creek volume 1 and 2 out to by in most good entertainment shops such as Virgin and HMV and they only ...

Crazy for that track Review ofDawson's Creek Vol.1 - Various Artistsby
Goo_Goo_Frog
Advantages: Great second track, worth a listen at least Disadvantages: Some very poor songs, painful track 13
Personally, not being a real avid fan of the old Dawsons Creek myself i cant really comment on the show much but there are some very moving scenes that require the "slushiest" soft rock ballards. This is generally what you should expect to find on this album!
I also bought only the second volume, i cannot comment on the 1st volume!
I bought this album purley for the second song on the album; Evan and Jaron, Crazy For This Girl. You may have ...

O.K. I will admit that I am not a great fan of soundtracks - my experience has always been that they have a few really good songs on them and the rest are average, so generally I try to stay away from them.
However, that was until my friend bought me Dawsons Creek Volume 2. I had watched Dawsons Creek on and off, but was not a great fan until now.
The album contains:
1. I Think I'm In Love - Jessica Simpson
2. Crazy For This Girl - Evan ...

Advantages: great, thoughtful music Disadvantages:
Dawson’s creek fan? Or mellow music fan? If you’ve watched Dawson’s Creek you’ll be familiar with the sort of music played on there. My sort of music, though not everyone’s cup of tea. Actually I like a range of music, but this still remains my favourite soundtrack.
Including songs such as”Kiss Me” by sixpence none the richer, B*witched’s “Blame it on the weatherman”, and the current series’ beautiful opening song “I don’t want to wait” by Paula ...

Advantages: Great artists, variety of styles. Disadvantages: It should be a double CD it's so good!
...chill out to - the Dawson's Creek soundtracks are perfect.
The series 1 soundtrack contains great songs from Sixpence None the Richer, Jessica Simpson and Shawn Mullins amongst 13 others. While Volume 2 is slightly longer with 19 tracks. The highlights being Evan and Jaron's "Crazy for this Girl" and Five For Fighting's popular single "Superman."
I love these albums so much because I am a fan of the show and the lyrics and music seem to sum ...

the first volume was great so i got the second one too.it has loads of tracks, with a mix of pop rock and poppy/country style.names include jessica simpson, A1 and a lot fo american artist who are very good, but not really known in England. This shouldnt put you off however, it is easy to listen to time and time again.it is not as good as the first, but it is still great, even if you are not an avid watcher of the tv show. The songs that are faster ...

Advantages: Easy sound Disadvantages: Could be considered depressing
The dawson's Creek album is a soundtrack and a half - in many ways it is as angst ridden as the show itself - it is definitley not happy music. The songs tell the stories of the show really well and although I have not watched the show a lot I found myself relating to more than one song on the album - the selection, or rather the choice of songs to go on the album are in my opinion outstanding.
I have owned this album for over a year and I still ...

Excellent Review ofDawson's Creek Vol.1 - Various Artistsby
Lowey
Advantages: Everyone will like it Disadvantages: None
The Dawson's Creek Sound track is absolutely excellent! I received it as a birthday present from a memeber of my family and it was frankly one of the best presents. I listen to it constantly wherever I am. It has a great compilation of songs, with a nice varying mixture of tracks. You do not exactly have to like watching Dawson's Creek in order to like the sound track. I am sure that this cassette or compact disc will suit everyone of whatever age's ...

THIS SOUNDTRACK IS VERY TYPICAL OF THE TV SHOW DAWSONS CREEK. THE SONGS ON IT ARE VERY MEANINGFUL AND DO MAKE U THINK. IT WILL NOT REALLY CHEER U UP IF U ARE FEELING DOWN BUT IS WELL WORTH LISTENING TO ANYWAY. A FRIEND OF MINE IS A MAJOR DAWSONS CREEK FAN AND ABSOLOUTLY LOVES THE SOUNDTRACK SO I THINK THAT IF U LOVE THE SHOW THEN THE SOUNDTRACK HAS MUCH MORE MEANING. MOST OF THE ARTISTS ON IT ARE NOT VERY WELL KNOWN, TO ME ANYWAY, BUT IT IS STILL ...

Give it a listen Review ofDawson's Creek Vol.1 - Various Artistsby
bethypoos
Advantages: Lovely songs, good value for money Disadvantages: One type of music - very sentimental
I am not a Dawson's Creek fan - in fact I have only seen the programme once, but a friend recommended I listen to the soundtrack. There are 16 tracks on the album, so it feels as though you get value for money, and I tend to favour the compilation because then you don't get bored of one singing voice. There are a couple of hits on it, including 'Kiss me' by sixpence none the richer and 'Don't blame it on the weatherman' by B*Witched. It is quite a ...
