Advantages: Lots of hits, great sound quality, one of the best bands ever Disadvantages: Short playing time, not as good as "Rock In Rio"
I don't see myself as an insider of the rock- and metalszene in Europe, but nevertheless I recognize, of which topics metalfans are annoyed. This might be the 12th DVD single release by Manowar or black salsify-eating Black Metal bands throwing heads of dead sheeps into their audiences (me, I will going to bombard Mayhem with the skull of an elephant next time I see them on stage. Just for fun.). Or even a new live album by Iron Maiden.
For a better ... ...The Road" is not really the very first live release from this favourite band of mine. Back catalogue already containing various live albums, for instance the legendary "Live After Death" from 1986, which is still considered to be the best Iron Maiden live album ever by lots of Maiden maniacs. Furthermore, there is the double album "A Real Live/Dead One" (I think it's from 1993), which was ony some comfort for the listeners due to leadsinger Bruce ...

After hearing the Dance of death studio album I was looking forward to hearing some of them live, as Maiden are one of the great live bands. I was not disappointed as this live album contained Wildest dreams, Rainmaker, Dance of Death, Paschendale, No more lies and Journeyman. It also has the Maiden classics Hallowed be thy name, Number of the Beast, The Trooper, Fear of the Dark and many others. The good thing with these songs are that they bring ...

...there during the Dance of Death tour and to now have my memories on a superb double album is great. The album is Maiden at there best. Recorded over 25 years since after it all started, Maiden are still rocking. The album recorded in Dortmund brings back the Live show and Includes the anthem 'Iron Maiden' The classics Number of the Beast, Run to the hillls and the trooper. Now modern classics Dance of Death and Brave new world. Its great to hear ...

Advantages: Excellent Entertainment Value, Sound Quality is Good, Classic Maiden!! Disadvantages: Same Old Songs.
I am Sitting here with my 7 maiden albums next to me, thought i'd write my first ever Ciao Review on this album! so i'll get to it! :)
The Sound Quality of this album is excellent and the moment you plug in the Cd your in the crowd! Unfortunately all the songs on the album are the usual maiden songs. Wildest Dreams, Wrath Child, No More Lies, Hallowed Be Thy Name etc. It Is Like The Rocking In Rio Album In Many Ways. I Would Definately Recommend ...
