This album is what got Chemical Brothers to where they are now and that is earning millions! I think it has been helped abit with the likes of Beth Orton and Noel Gallagher adding there voices to the songs but they have got to the top with hardly any help at all. All there stuff is original and every single beat has been created by them and only them and when they are live then its all created live there and not just put on a track and played ... Read review

...Dust the duo then released Dig Your Own Hole, many beleived it would hav been hard to better Exit Planet Dust but those doubts were soon swept aside after the first track on the album, block rockin' beats, which featured a sample from schooly D. Block rockin' beats is a huge track which typically defines the genre of music the Chemical Brothers created, big beat. This album dig your own hole is a classic must have album, I only realised ther standing in the dance world after this album and its great, and as the song says they are constantly, back with another one of those block rocking beats! There is so much origionality here its hard to define any track to a particular style, setting sun is a highltght with a certain gallacher brother supplyng the vocals, I would definitely buy this album ... This album has to be one of the most inspirational albums of all time. The use of bizarre sounds at times makes it sound industrial, but then with a heavy dance influence it returns back to where it's trying to be. The sounds are great, my favourite being Where Do I Begin, as it blends very soft, smooth, soulful style and then suddenly kicks in with a pounding rhythm and bassline. Absolutely amazing. ...me that I should get Dig Your Own Hole. Being impressionable, I did. I made a good choice, after all. The album starts on a forceful note with 'Block Rocking Beats', a song with a powerful beat and strong bass, punctuated by shouts of 'Back with another one of those block rocking beats!'.
