There aren't many vocalists that can switch from a hardcore gut curdling scream to a softer popier style at the drop of a hat, but the band Silverstein are blessed with frontman Shane Told's versatility. This is the second effort from the canadian based screamo / punk band, and in my ... ...love again.
5. Discovering The Waterfront
This song is probably the slowest and mellowest on the album, and works well as the title track. It is about a relationship gone really wrong and someone ending it although they still love eachother very much they are sick of the pain they go through when they are together.

Advantages: Perfect combination of genre styles Disadvantages: Lacks the hardcore elements of previous albums
A breath-taking album. You can feel the bands raw emotion through the tracks and feel emotionally involved. This is my favourite album as i related to it the second i heard it. Its a perfect combination of screamo mixed with rock emo and soft ballads and is unique. The album kicks off with 'Your Sword V My Dagger' which is about the story Romeo and Juliet. The album also contains references to films and other books. The band name is a tribute to ... ...like a story is unfolding between the writer and his relationships with other people. I went to see the band recently and they played with the same raw emotion and energy as in their records. I would recommend this album to anyone who wants to listen to a unique band and has time to give them a chance. After a few listens of the album its sure to win any ones heart. ...
