...episode of Series 3 of Doctor Who this is like re-living each episode but in music form. Each and every song represents the Doctor Who genre like a heart represents love! Just as the first Murray Gold Doctor who soundtrack it starts with the same wondering music of series 1 when we are looking down from space onto earth and then focus into see rose for the first time but we go into the series trailer music which has become to represent the series. ...
...want to run like the Doctor does J! Then we hear Martha's Theme, which appears in over 6 episodes when the scene is about Martha. Just like Rose and the Doctor have their theme Martha has to have one and its one of the best out of the 3! ...two series of the revived Doctor Who. And of course, he doesn't disappoint. The first track in the album is titled: All the Strange, Strange creatures. I must say, this is my favourite track, as it sums up the action of the third series very well. When I was listening to that track in particular, my mind raced back to the scene in the penultimate episode of the series, where the Doctor and Martha were fleeing from armed police. Again, Murray wow ...
...thing that is rather disappointing, is how Murray seems to repeat segments of songs inside the album. Examples would be the 'YANA' and 'Futurekind' tracks, which borrow extensively from the starting Strange, Strange Creatures track. Nevertheless, this album is a worthy purchase, even if you're not a Doctor Who fan! ...
