Released in 2001, 'Echo Park' is the third studio album from Feeder; a twelve track construction of music featuring such infectiously catchy single releases as 'Buck Rogers' and 'Seven Days in the Sun' also. The album has a run time of just over 45 minutes in length and a strong 45 minutes of music it is too. I think this was really the make or break album for the band and if things had back fired it would have been the end of Feeder. Echo Park is Feeder’s third full-length album. ...Edge - 3:13 7/10 Echo Park kicks off with this spacey track with a heavy chorus. The track is much like Bush, only with better melodies and less thrashy. ...the B-sides. The new album echo park took a takes a few listens to discover what is really hidden in the deep depths of the tracks. My advice to anyone who buys this album is read the insert, the insert has all the lyrics to the songs and personnally i feel the songs have really deep meanings. The track called "under the weather" features some great guitar riffs and the lyrics remind me of the feeling you get the morning after a heavy drinking night ...
...to me, the point I'm trying to make (badly) is that there will be one song atleast everyone can relate too, songs about broken relationships and hangovers, all in a students weekend I guess. The sound of the album remeans much like the last album, however it does also contain tracks like Bug which is very old style feeder, with 2 pure minutes of guitar thrashing (which apperently was influenced by Black sabbath!) The lyrics whilst not the best you could hope to hear, carry the song extremely well. The music is brilliantly done, it helps the song to flow, incredibly well. The Bass playing in particular is magnificent. The drumbeat kept by Jon Lee is also guaranteed to have you playing Air Drums :-) ...

It’s nice watching someone grow up in public. Grant Nicholas, despite now pushing 30 has spent the last few years doing that musically. Beginning with 1997s ‘Swim’ EP, Feeder have been gradually blossoming from a band with potential to great one in their own right. Whilst ‘Polythene’ at times seemed to have aped the Smashing Pumpkins most overblown moments a little too closely, and ‘Yesterday Came Too Soon’ ...

Echo Park being the name of feeders latest offering, coming after the superb yesterday went to soon album which was a stunning album, so Feeder had a lot of pressure on them to produce something special and boy they have done just that with stand out tracks such as “BUCK ROGERS” and “SEVEN DAYS IN THE SUN”, the good thing about the album is it has got 4 or 5 stand out tracks on it and some decent B-Sides on it e.g. “CHOKE” and “TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS”. ...
...album, but we do get the usual fast paced guitars and drums as usual, the fact that there is such a mixture of music adds to the quality of the album making it superb to listen to, this album is one of those where if you feel like it you can jump around trashing your room to it or lay back and chill out to. One thing which can be said about Feeder is the way which they treat there fans, they are constantly touring (I recently saw them at Reading) ...

...for a while now, but Echo Park is what really brought them nationwide fame. Feeder are perhaps a bit of a difficult band to class, mostly indie guitar, but on other tracks go more rock/nu-metal with louder sounds. For my personal preferance I do not like any Limp Bizkit/Korn, but will give anything from the Offspring to the Stereohonics to the Manics a listen. Feeder and this album in particular appealed to my tastes, and I would recomend it. Echo ...
...making as much noise as possiable, like some so called bands. This is my personal preference, as in I prefer this to other music, where good talent is coming through to make a good record, no disrespect to others, but for me Echo Park shows Feeders musical quality. Nice one. ...
