From my dooyoo review Foo Fighters are a great band. There is no denying that. I saw them live and they blew me away. In a music industry that is dominated by "indie" music it is refreshing that albums like this still gain the respect that they deserve. Some of the tracks are better than others. have loved the Foos since 1995 and their incredible debut album. Every time they release a new one I am scared it will be shite and I won't love them any more. But it's OK - they haven't failed me yet (although 'The Colour and the Shape' wasn't my favourite). After their last releases, 'In Your Honor' and 'Skin and Bones', I was truly terrified. The Foo Fighters have definitely lived up to their success with their brilliant new album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. This is one of the Foo Fighters more acoustic albums and unlike some of their previous works you have to listen to the album as a whole a couple of times before you can really start to enjoy it. Well, what can I say, the Foos never disappoint, an amazing album! Original tracks, some that blow your head off and some that are good ol' easy listening, powerful lyrics on every track and excellent value for money. Foo Fighters at there best! It is hard to believe that the Foo Fighters can keep producing and re-producing such classic hits that each have there own sound and unique signatures. If anyone thought that the Foo Fighters were going stale after there release of the Skin And Bones acoustic set, they were wrong!
