I bought this album after really liking the singles 'shut up' and 'hey mama'. I was hoping for more of the same on the album, & I wasn't disappointed. The Black Eyed Peas exploded onto the music scene late last year with their No 1 hit 'where is the love,' with its guest appearance by Justin Timberlake which was one of the biggest sellers of last year. ...songs. I'd bought the Elephunk album for my son, but managed to rescue it from his pit, and once I put it on I was hooked. This album has everything, from the sensitive, thought provoking Where Is The Love, through to the spanish riffs in Latin Girls, and onto the hormonal teenage angst (so familiar to many mums my age!) in Anxiety. The Blackeyed Peas- Elephunk Interscope records, licensed to Polydor Ltd (UK) The "peas" are also known as Will.i.am, Fergie,Taboo and Apl.de.ap. This has got to be my most Fav album ever. It is so good and i am a big fan of the Black eyed peas. I just think their songs have so much meaning and i really understand them. I can listen to it from begining to end with the exception of track 12. I really don't like that as it is really hard core and rocky which im not a great fan of. This Album has some of the most class tunes ever. Shut Up + Hey mama are cool and so is Where is the love. However the album cover isn't very interesting. The lyrics are cool and make a point. Where is the love tells you about suffering of children, through song. Just in case you are offended by swearing, There is quite a bit of swearing throughout the album. The Black Eyed Peas have being around for ages. I only new about The Black EyedPeas after they released Where is the love. I think this is one of the best albums ever and can be purchased in most music shops for about fifteen pounds or less.
