Advantages: Strong debut album, well chained together songs Disadvantages: Ends too abruptly, for some it may take some getting used to
Russian Circles are a three piece, post rock band from Chicago. And this is their debut album 'Enter' a mixture of melodic melodies and heavy riffs.
Now, even though the whole album clocks up to only six songs, you're still getting your money's worth from this album, clocking up to just over 44 min of instrumental bliss. Plus, I'll describe every single track seeing as there is only six of them.
Carpe: Begins slowly with a steady 4 note guitar ... ...to pull you back and forward with the volume level and speed.
Micah: More subtle but at the same keeps you on the edge; this track concentrates more on the impressive guitar picking work, with the drums and bass interfering now and again for showing off purposes.
Death Rides A Horse: Starts hard and fast and continues that way all through the song, it feels like there's a speed contest going on with the bass and guitar.
