...says that it is am essential R&B collection yet i woul say that some of the variety of songs are also Hip Hop and possibly slightly dance tracks. The essential R&B collection is a very good collection of love songs. they offer songs from various artists and while a few dont really qualify as love songs most of them really set up a romantic atmosphere. This CD is perfect for a candlelight dinner or any other special event you have for that special someone. It also has songs which are perfect if you want to ask a girl to a dance and need that song. The essential R & B collection is a good complilation but I wouldnt necessarily call it a love collection.Its the kind of cd to listen to when ironing or driving.Some songs obviously suit the title,love collection and this includes NSYNC,Wayne Wonder,Aaliyah,Alicia Keys,Toni Braxton among others.But Eamon with F**k It? Advantages: Good mix of somewhat newer and older classic songs
Disadvantages: Not sure if all songs fall into the 'love' category

I've often tend to steer well away from compilation albums as I prefer to stick to albums by one artist. However, this album offers songs that go back decades such as the head-bopping Regulate by Warren G and the beautiful, soulful voice of Angie Stone. It's a shame that the likes of Warren, Angie and Fugees are dangerously close to the likes of Eamon and JC Chasez but at least they're both in the first cd! I Love R&B, i do not own this CD but i would love too! With 2 discs of cool, calm and laid back tunes to listen to with over 100 minutes and a great collection of some of the worlds greastest R&B love songs.
