Advantages lovely lyrics, lovely melodies, emotional
Disadvantages songs aren't that upbeat.

Who is she? Taylor Swift is an American country/pop singer. Who started her music career in 2006 with her self-titled album: “Taylor Swift” and her first single: “Tim McGraw”. Taylor went on to winning numerous awards after the release of her first album, and being nominated for awards such as the Best New Artist Grammy Award. Fearless “Fearless” is Taylor Swift’s second album and was released in November of 2008. She went on to release the album on platinum in October 2009. Advantages Amazing voice, pure talent
Disadvantages always mostly singing about boys

Taylor Swift: Fearless Now i tend to venture outside the old rock zone which i have comfortably settled in but i dont go out those zones often, i listen to the likes of Dixie Chicks and Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus and i have recently come across this woman...Taylor Swift. Did not think i would like her at all but my mom bought the cd and while she was playing i couldnt help but think...oh my god she has talent! Advantages Beautiful voice, great songwriting and guitar playing. Sings with a lot of emotion.
Disadvantages None! But she isn't that big in the UK yet!

I first discovered Taylor Swift about two and a bit years ago on Youtube and instantly got drawn to her song "Teardrops on My Guitar" which I downloaded along with her first self-titled debut album. Taylor's first album was amazing, so Fearless had a lot to live up to!! I couldn't wait 'till the UK release date (9th March '09), so I got it imported a few days after it was released in the US (November '08), and I have listened to at least one of her songs everyday since! My hubby was listening to the charts a while a go and I heard the song 'Love story' and really liked it which is why I ended up with this album. I had no idea who Taylor Swift was and still don't which is why I am not going to use this review to explain about who she is, where she lives and what chocolate bar is her favorite. This review is purely based on my opinion of the album that I have been listening to for the past few months. Disadvantages Nothing...except i may be just a little overobsessed.

**Fearless** The title track of this album, very very catchy with a lovely message. Taylor Swift describes fearless as 'not the absence of fear, but having fears and living in spite of the things that scare you to death.' **Fifteen** This song describes how Taylor & her best friend, Abigail, felt when they were fifteen years old. It shows some emotions after personal experiences, and shows off Taylor's vocal talents. **Love Story**' Her amazing first UK single was an absolute hit. Taylor Swift first caught my attention back in 2009 with her single 'Love Strory'. I hadn't heard of this girl before and was interested to see who she was. Taylor Swift is a twenty year old American country and pop singer.She is also known for dating the very hot , actor , also called Taylor from Twilight! Advantages brilliant lyrics and a fantastic voice
Disadvantages some tracks sound a tad the same

i really really liked this cd. i bought it on a whim after hearing the single "love story" on the radio. 1) fearless - this is my least fave on the cd as it does sound a bit like every other teenage singer song writer! good tune though which gets stuck in your head! 2) fifteen - i loved this track. all about being in school and how it all doesnt matter now your out. whether you were popular, sad or a geek you grow up to be a completly different person. Advantages Cute songs, good voice, amazing songwriting
Disadvantages Doesn't use wide range of songs

Taylor has a good voice except she hasn't reached her full potential. Her range of different songs is scarcely limited. If you haven't yet noticed most of her songs are about boys, love and that sort of stuff. Boys that should have her and boys that broke her heart and aren't worth it. In this album 14 out of the 16 songs are the type of songs I just mentioned. That's a lot and lots of them repeat and in the songs the words repeat but some people like this. Some people like her small range of songs. After saying all this people probably think I don't like Taylor but I love her. Taylor writes ... more

In my opinion this is an amazing album, she has such a unique voice. i first heard taylor swift wen i saw the "love story" music video and i instantly fell in love with her as a musician, i loved her voice.. the unique country styled vocals she uses and her writing skills. i bought the album and put it on.. it was amazing , from the first title track "fearless" and all throughout the disc, there was nothing but brillaint songwriting and standout vocals so i put it on repeat and played the album over and over and over 20 times. its a real feel good album which i will play in my mums car ... more

Advantages brilliant lyrics.
Disadvantages not robust, lacking originality,

i never really knew taylor swift until i heard her song"Love Story" and suddenly i was in love with her music. i love the fact that every song on her ablum has a story behind it and a few of them i found quite touching. she is a brilliant singer-songwriter which i think most people will enjoy as they are hits that are known with songs that have not been released yet. The only thing that i dislike about this product really is that she needs to get out there a bit more. be a bit more wild maybe? as her songs are all really about love which i think is classic and maybe not different which people ... more
