...Panic at the disco's a fever you can't sweat out is so Easy to listen to and catchy.
They are from Las Vegas Nevada. When you listen to the album this does show. In one word a cabaret type feel to many of the tracks. You can certainly imagine them playing in a glitzy vegas hotel. You wouldn't think this for an any indie band but let me explain.
According to their page they are rock/indie/techno now this does show in many tracks. They have been ... ...a find this company had. The record label is under indie and i guess you get mostly that feel.
Before i go on about each track, etc. i would like to point out these guys are very busy with a first tour. I am going to see them at leeds festival woo hoo can't wait. They are fully sold out in the USA. But tickets are still available here reading festival is another venue. Plus three dates in London worth checking out.
So who do we have for this new ...

...much.
'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' is an excellent album from Panic at the Disco, a superb début and one which I have listened to many times since purchasing. It kicks off with the energetic little number 'The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage' and never once in the albums run time do the band ever show any signs of slowing down. I would describe the music of Panic at the Disco as Fall Out Boy with keyboards, and that's ... ...their way through this 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' release. Obviously if you're not a fan of Fall Out Boy then you probably won't like Panic at the Disco either, but on the flip side; if you happen to be a fan of Fall Out Boy then the chances are that you will like this band also.
In total, five tracks were released from this album; the last of which being 'Build God, Then We'll Talk', a track which was released as a download only single. I think ...

Panic! At The Disco are a band who come from Las Vegas. Like me you probably think Vegas does anyone actually live there? I thought they just went there, well they grew up there all members apart from one. The members are Ryan Ross (lyricist/guitarist), Brendon Urie (vocalist/guitarist), Spencer Smith (drums), Brent Wilson (bass). They are aged 18-19 but don't let age fool as you as they are as talented as some of their peers, still with some things ... ...Being one of my favourite bands at the moment I will try to keep this as far from being biased as possible. The band formed from a young age as Ryan Ross always wanted a guitar and when he got it he and his friend Spencer started to play music, Brendon and Brent joined at a later date. They got serious when they IM'd (instant messaged), Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy (see my earlier review on their album). He has his own record label Decaydance as well ...

■The Band■
The beginning of Panic! At The Disco is certainly an underdog story that should inspire many upcoming bands to keep on going. They were signed up to their first record label without even performing a single show. Spotted by Fall Out Boy poster boy Pete Wentz on MySpace he recommended them to his record label. They took him up on the offer and thus, we have Panic! At The Disco. The rose quickly from small time underground success ... ...emo genre, their original sounding tracks got many people interested. The band is made up of Brandon Urie who is lead singer along with an extensive list of other instruments such as rhythm guitar and keyboard. Ryan Ross is predominantly on lead guitar but again doing backing vocals, keyboard, organ and so on. The band has recently adopted a new bassist Jon Walker who replaced Brent Wilson last year. Spencer Smith on drums and percussion completes ...

Panic! At The Disco, wow, where to start. Firstly, they are an absolutely fantastic band, they have taken the 'emo' sensation by storm! They come with some of the catchiest riffs and vocals. This album is short and snappy and really gets to the point.

- This song fades straight in from the intro track. It kicks in with the lyrics 'Sit tight I'm gunna need you to keep time' and blasts you away with the slenderness and clearness of Brendan Urie's voice, and the gentle strumming of the guitar in the background. The song then slams into the chorus 'And i believe....this may call for a proper introduction.....' This song is probably ...

A slightly longer than average record consisting of 13 tracks instead of the standard 12, A Fever… delivers where most bands tend to lack. Advantages: So different from lots of other bands, really unique!! Disadvantages: Now very commercial which means some tracks are over-played
I bought this album about 6 months ago from an online website, i think amazon although i can't remember exactly! Anyway, i bought it because i had heard Fall Out Boy, another american alternative/rock band who became very popular in the UK when they released their singles from the ablum "from under the cork tree", and really liked their sound so searched them on the internet. And when i did i found their Myspace, a blog site, which had a lot of their ... ...also included the support acts for their tour and among them included this band, Panic At the Disco. So therefore i seached them too and found a lot of their music on Myspace, amazon etc. The funny thing is that when i listened to their music i found that i preferred it to Fall Out Boy's. It was so different from anything i'd heard before, so upbeat but not pop, so rock but not cliche, and so techno! a very strange mix of genres which you can't help ...

I love this album, I got into PATD when I heard one song made by them, Lying is the Most Fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off...yes a very long title!! The album has a mix of song types and if you like Fall out Boy, you'll love these!! Panic at the Disco are classed as "Indie Rock and Punk" but I class them as "alternative" cause there really is a mix of everything laced with rock. I recommend the album to anyone who has heard of panic ... ...a couple of downsides to the album, there are alot of "intermissions" which take the place of 3-4 minute long songs, but other than that I love it!! :-D The album made me love Panic at the Disco and I think you will love them too after listening to this album!!! :-D ...

...with, but I downloaded 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' out of curiosity - and i'm glad I did. The songs are catchy and quirky with great lyrics and I found myself singing them for days afterwards.
The album's split in two - the first half is a sort of more electronic infulenced side before half way through the track 'Intermission' the traditional piano and guitars come in.
Two things that do annoy me about this album is Brendon Urie's voice - although ...

Advantages: Catchy dance-able pop-rock Disadvantages: perhaps a little repetitive
This album from Nevada band PANIC! at the Disco stands out above most of the rest of today's 'emo' scene by quite a way. While it may not be the most original album you've ever heard it's certainly different from what most bands are doing, mixing the pop-punk sound which has been popularised by bands like Blink 182 and Green Day with electronic beats (in the first half of the album) and with a lot of piano work giving the second half of the album ... ...aren't the most thought-provoking, but are probably better than many bands today and will stick in your mind, thanks to some very catchy melodies. While the music may in times be slightly derivative on the guitar front, the added electronica-style sounds present in many tracks make it highly enjoyable and great to dance to.
As a debut album this is a fantastic beginning to P!atD's career, showing some great songwriting skills. The whole package ...

Panic At The Disco is a fantastic band from Las Vegas Nevada, America.
I was first introduced to the band by some of my closest friends, who also got me into bands like MCR. After listening to a few tracks, i was hooked, and just HAD to download their album. Their album is unique and catchy, and their lyrics and video's really bring out the Vegas feel to their music.

There is a great rhythm to this song. There is some use of the F word in this song, but its reasonable. Its, again, catchy and you'll be bobbing away in no time. Brendons voice is well suited, and the song is as if telling a story.

Panic! At The Disco were a band that took me a while to get into but I love them now. I thought they were just another Fall Out Boy clone but if you actually listen to them then you would notice that they have their own sound and it mainly involves alot of keyboard.
