The best of the Relient K albums in my opinion, Five Score gives an explosive and energetic dose of our beloved Relient K, with addictive riffs, fabulous vocals and an overall truly uplifting sound, not that we should expect anything less.
Those who know Relient K, I'm sure will be familiar with the ingenious way in which they ingrain take-home messages seamlessly into catchy songs. You will be pleased to know ... ...Reform", there is variation in Five Score. As much variation as is possible with Relient K, anyway.
"Deathbed" is the ballard ending the album, and there's a good 11 minutes of it! But don't skip the ending; lie back and listen to the story, otherwise it is likely to sound very boring indeed. The swinging rhythm of "Faking My Own Suicide" also becomes tedious, although there are next to no weak tracks on the album.
Overall this is a must-have album! ...
