I went to the Isle of Wight Festival last month and it was amazing! The headliners were R.E.M, but that's not who I want to talk about! Faithless have always been around and 99% of people have probably heard some of their songs, but it wasn't until I saw them performing live at the Isle of Wight Festival that I thought that they were absolutely amazing. ...as I've aged my tastes changed. I was 14 when this song came out and was into the Spice Girls (some things never change haha!) I thought it was boring as hell. While I still don't fall over myself to listen to this tune I like it a lot more than when I was younger! Having heard the most popular faithless songs I thought that this album would be a good purchase. When I started listening to the album, I was not disappointed. The lyrics to each song were fantastic and I was not disappointed with maxi jazz's philosophies, however I just felt some tracks got a bit tiresome and repetitive. I would still recommend buying the album however as there is defiantly much more good than bad. There is a huge variety in genres ...

These tracks are the ones that everyone is probably familiar with - Insomnia, God is a DJ and the recent Mass destruction. Forever Faithless The Greatest Hits, im not a massive Faithless fan but still i gave this album try as it is their greatest hits and overall i was pleasently suprised how much i liked it, there are some real classics on this compilation such as Insomnia, We Come 1 and God Is A DJ, also the recent single Mass Destruction is another big track. Faithless have a large following of fans and have been very successfull all over the world and still continue ...
...however some of the tracks lack any real feeling or emotion and are slightly off putting. The majority of their tracks focus in on the use of keyboards, guitars, catchy beats and some meaningful vocals/lyrics and they generally have a very good structure making them a good listen. The album itslef has a total of 16 tracks which include their greatest hits, a new single featuring Estelle plus 2 brand new tracks and videos are also available on dvd. ...

Was a long time ago when i first heard Faithless, and after hearing one song, i had to go buy more. The songs just got to me, and even though i dont usually listen to the slow beat trance music, there is something different about the songs, compared to the rest, which i feel every one would enjoy. When playing the album in my car, i actually feel like not getting out and thinking of not going to work and just to sit there listening to the songs. ...
...only listen to this music to relax, it doesnt give an up beat 'up for it' buzz, so it isnt the best genre of music for the younger generations just before they go out to the clubs etc. but when you get back home, this music is a good way to mellow down with. I find best listening to the album when alone and when no one is around to bother you. So you can just sit laze around, put the album on and just relax. But i did find there is the odd one ...

After a decade finally British electronica act Faithless has put out a greatest hits compilation called "Forever Faithless". Faithless' music is an eclectic mix of trip hop, house, rock, and a bit of trance music all thrown in together . Dido's older brother Rollo formed the band with , and rapper Maxi Jazz. There are three new tracks: "Fatty Boo" (a boggie reggae-influenced track), "Why Go?" w/Estelle on vocals (personal favourite), and "I Want More" (a smooth, laid back, down tempo track - the weakest of the three new songs). I really dug "Why Go?" with the house beats and Estelle's vocals. I find myself listening to that song over and over again. What I didn't like about this compilation ...

If you have never heard of Faithless or an old fan and your vinyl has got broken or warped shame on you, go out and buy this album. Containing club classics like Insomnia, God is a DJ and many more the bass lines are enough to even awake the most subdued of people and get them moving, yes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you crank the volume up and listen. Sister Bliss who's influence is a big part of Faithless reflects in the music. ...
...even if its just to use the base line's in your mashup's, using samples in your own sets really catches the hearts of the clubbers. Its a roller coasters ride with hard hitting anthems to start slowing down to a sedate middle section to get your breath back and finishing in a climax which will leave you with a smile on your face. ...

Oh goodness! This CD is amazing, I mean really fantastic. From day 1 I bought this CD, put it into my CD player and a huge smile grew on my face. This is trully faithless at its best- well no wonder it is called greatest hits! A true compilation of their best tunes and even some new tracks. It will make you dance and lose yourselve. Not only that but the lyrics sung by Maxi Jazz really sink into you and they make so much sense. Anyone can relate ...
