...patiently waiting to blow and get his chance to shine. The beat speeds up on Eminem's verse with a hospital life machine beeping in the background. It’s Eminem so the lyrics are as usual, amazing. This was 'Fiddy's' first album, a collaboration with a fair few aother artistes and on the back of his sucessful single 'In da club'. Produced by Aftermath records, an Eminem, Dr Dre outfit, it was bound to be sucessful. 50 cent is an artist from the "ghetto" in New York. Previously to being a rapper he was a gangster and has been shot over 5 times!!! This artist burst onto the scene with this, his debut album "get rich or die tryin'" in 2003. ...a xxl or 5 mics get it yourself if you havent heard it because not many come along as good as this 1! If you are new to Hip-Hop or have been living on another planet for the past few years and havent heard this album I highly recommend you do so, you will not be disappointed! ...when it does you can't get it out of your head. A word of warning to those who don't like violent music this is NOT an album for you. It has everything from drugs to violence, from sex to murder, from drug deals to hits, and so on and so on. He does tend to brag about his money from time to time, but nowhere to the extent that alot of other rap artists do. I think 50 Cent has much more interesting things to say than most rappers. Retired Gangstaa 50 cent is back! with his debut album "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" he is saying that now he is rich he wont die he is great. The singles include the club hit "In Da Club" proving he cant be stopped in "If I Cant" and a ladiez man in "P.I.M.P." Its a great debut and by selling one album has out sold missy eliot. Great first album to start out a career, really good songs by a great artist, i would recommend buying this even though it is an old album of his by now. Great artist, great album.
