...is entitled Roy Orbison - GOLDEN DAYS. I bought this years ago and think I bought it in one of the Woolworth's ‘buy two for £10’ deals. You can always find greatest hits compilations reasonably cheaply in any music store.

You don’t really get a booklet with this CD, just a list of the songs.
This is my interpretation of some classic numbers - it may not be the same as everyone's idea of what is being said, but that’s the way it should be :o)

Advantages: Littered With Monumentally Great Songs Disadvantages: 3 of his best Songs are not on the album (see review for details)
Surely the world's greatest ever Tenor, Roy Kelton Orbison was born in Vernon, Texas in 1936 and sadly passed away at the age of 52 having suffered a heart attack. As a singer-songwriter and very gifted guitarist his musical legacy can not be underestimated. This 20 track album (all on 1 CD) is mainly an album of heartfelt powerful ballads with some Rock ‘n Roll style songs thrown in.. The album does not include "You Got It", "Ooby Dooby" and "I ... ...tracks "Running Scared", “Love Hurts” "Crying", “Blue Bayou”, "Only The Lonely" and "In Dreams". His style is in effect an incredible marriage between operatic tenor and drum, base and guitar band which I can not think of any equivalent example of in music history. He had an exceptional two and a half octave range voice and a year and a half after his death was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. A flimsy 2 page album sleeve doesn't do justice ...
