Advantages: Beautiful Lyrics, Beautiful voice, really paints a picture with each song. Disadvantages: I truly found no negative aspects whilst listening to 'A Good Day'.
...Blue Note Records; enitled 'A Good Day'. The album reflects a lot on Priscilla's own childhood growing up in Pennsylvania. The first song on the album, and a familiar song from her EP called 'Dream' reflects upon this nostalgia with lyrics such as 'I was a little girl...I had a dream that I could fly from the highest swing...long walks through the dark...' The album continues with the somewhat poignant 'Wallflower' in which Priscilla sings about ... ...Overall, I found 'A Good Day' an absolute pleasure to listen to. Priscilla's clever ballad of lyrics, whimsical melodies and enchanting voice may let your mind wander to wonderful places and evoke nostalgia of home and your childhood, as I found. The accomplished album certainly gives the impresssion that Priscilla Ahn is very much a musician on the path to a blossoming career. ...
