Advantages: Upbeat,Great to Dance too,Very now Disadvantages: At times over produced,Sounds a bit like Timbaland's other work
I have been awaiting the release of Madonna's new album since she released her last album,Confessions on a Dance Floor in 2005!
And I was so excited to hear that she would be working with Timbaland,Justin Timberlake and Kanye West,etc as I am also a huge fan of them too!
Listening to her first single(4 Minutes feat. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland),I didn't really like the song at first,but now it is my favourite song on the whole album!

Advantages: Pue Madonna Disadvantages: Over-produced at times
...reminiscent of her previous work, Hard Candy is testament to Madonna's ever-evolving musical style. A downside to the album is that some of the tracks are over-produced, which detracts from Madonna's vocals. All in all this is excellent alum, with a worthy 9/10.

...is an example of why Hard Candy is such a solid pop album. One of the most interesting aspects of the album that has gone relatively unnoticed is that recently graduated Kanye West also throws himself on to a track with the woman that graduated thirty years back, for 'Beat Goes On'. Following on from 'Confessions on a Dancefloor'. Madonna has delivered another great album packed with catchy tunes. Unlike many albums out there, I honestly think 8 of the tracks are fantastic and could be released as singles. 'Devil wouldn't recognise you' is a good old-fashioned Madonna pop song with an R&B feel. 'Give it 2 me' is incredibly catchy but the rapping bit is just strange! This is 2008 and Hard Candy certainly returns Madonna to the throne of Queen on Pop with a little added crunch. Although I never thought she got off the throne.
This is also the 1st time that she's taken a back seat and not produced anything on her album. Instead she has gotten in Timbaland, Timberlake and Pharrel to name a few, which have helped the appeal of this album a greta deal.

...I am a die hard madonna fan, who has always absolutely loved all of her stuff, but I just can't get into Hard Candy. I don't know whether it is because I am not a lover of R&B but I find that the songs lack meaning, have no heart or soul, no real tune to speak of (except 4 minutes which is about the only track that I can listen to), they just seem to meandre along with no proper structure to them, with Madonna wailing along in the background.
