The band was originally formed by childhood friends guitarist Dominic Cifarelli and bassist Jeff Feldman, who after some changes to the band's line-up after a short break-up in 1997 brought on drummer Maxx Zinno and vocalist Vizza. unfortunately i read a couple of months ago on the band's website that Vizza had departed the band due to musical differences. this is a shame because i rather enjoyed his vocal styles on this album and to this day im ... ...anyway. i first heard Pulse ultra a couple of years ago supporting Taproot. i was blown away by this act as usually i find the support acts for small gigs rather unentertaining. the album consists of 14 tracks of pure musical delight in my opinion. It starts with the hard-driven tempo of "Acceptance (Phase 1)" and continues with this welcome sound to the beautiful acoustic intro of the album's closer "Despo" .
