Manson does it again on “high End Of Low”. His brilliantness to phrase and place words still ceases to amaze me. ...Acoustic songs are good from Marilyn Manson but not love songs. Don’t quite feel it. “Into The Fire”, feel the same way. And “Pretty As A Swastika” wasn’t quite feeling either didn’t quite understand the lyrics. ...really don't think that The High End of Low is among Manson's finest work. Many of the tracks fail to stick in your mind, but the ones that do are quite annoying. Take Four Rusty Horses, for example. It's a very repetitive, acoustic and safe track that doesn't really seem to sum up what Manson's all about musically.
