Film that's a modern day Grease!! Very upbeat and peppy. Troy and Gabriella are back and it's Summer Vacation. Them and the rest of the Wildcats have to work for the Summer so they can afford college. And where do they go, none other than Sharpay's country club. Funny film with lots of twists and Sharpay is back as her evil, bitchy self, but true love wins out in the end and Sharpay is taught a very valuable lesson about friendship. Would recommend to all who love a good love story. ...

...cheesy which is expected of High School Musical and the franchise. It was almost the best selling album of 2007 but was beaten by Daughtry by Daughtry. To conclude this album is not something you would buy for a party unless you are a High school Musical fan or quite young (under 16 years old). ...

The high school musical 2 soundtrack is good not excellent i would say. it is perfect for those who like pop music. EXTRAS the album includes the humu humu song which isnt in the film but the name is mentioned its an ok song but i can see why they didnt put it in the film . The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you. ...the first of the films, High School Musical, the original, the songs were very good and had the beat and rhythm that made you want to get up and dance but these appear at first glance to have been rushed through with not much time thinking through it. In one of the songs that Shapay sings when all "the gang" turn up at her resort; the song has no melody! I think the soundtrack of High School Musical 1 was much better than this one. The songs are less catchy and therefore, the movie should not be termed as musical. But it is a good buy if you are thinking to have fun or host a party as the music will add some glory to the function. ...come to the UK as HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2!!!!! This excellent CD gives a range of songs by Troy Bolton, Sharpay Evans,and Gabrielle Montez! If you enjoyed the film you'll love the CD. If you haven't seen the film and you're age 5 to 14 you'll probably still love it. It has all the main songs from the film, including both versions of You are the Music in Me by Troy & Gariella and Sharpay. The bonus track is weird but the 10 other songs justified the cost of the CD without worring about the bonus track.
