Well...this is the CD that started it all, or should I say continued it? I remember as a wee child, sat in my car, listening to "Disco 2000" on the radio. Such good times. It was a song, that even as a mindless child, said to me "This is how music should sound". So, late summer '06 sometime, I saw the Video to that memory stirring song on something like "Q", or "The Vault" on sky, and my heart literally stopped. A couple of weeks later, I saw the ...
...mind to go straight to Virgin Megastores and pick up my copy of some form of Pulp's Greatest Hits, and so came across "Hits". It shows how Pulp changed and differed through their time at large, from the early 90's to the early 00's. Songs like "Babies", "Razzmataz", and "Lipgloss" all ooze with dark, perverted, but none the less incredibly witty innuendo, about spying on your friend's sister, incest, and sleeping around. Pulp were a band that spanned 20 years. 10 of those years were wasted on failure. Despit the albums being brilliant. In the 90s they came to fame! This compilation is of every Pulp single of there successfull period and includes a bunus track: "Last Day Of The Minors Strike". The odvious songs are there. The "His N Hers" stuff. All of the "Different Class, "Hardcore" and "We Love Life" singles. The abum art is funky and there is a choice to select ...

Pulp, the best band in the world if you ask me. They've influnced so many people and bands over the past 20 years that they should receive an award. Cocker is the best front man this country has seen in years and even thogh Pulp are now disbanded, he still lives strong in the world of music. ...bands finally realeased a greatest hits album and nobody noticed. Only reaching number Seventy One in the charts. This cd has fiftteen classic singles, one B-side and one new track. As it seems this is Pulp's final album what better way for someone who has never bought a Pulp album than by buying this. I highly recommend it. You'll no doubt recognise songs such as: Common People, Disco 2000, Help The Aged, Do You Remember The First Time? ...
