The first thing I have to say, is that Manson's album is soooooooo good value for money. I removed the cardboard cover/pocket and looked on the back of the cd case, to my amazement, the CD includes 20 tracks for the normal price of a 12 or 13 track CD. Anyway, value for money doesn't make a good album. This album is classic, dark, atmospheric metal/rock. 'Holy Wood' is an aggressive album with some really good songs. this is the latest album from the dark metal band, a more mellow laid back approach to their sound. there are a few good songs on the album that you will most likely have stuck in your head for a while but it is easy to get bored of this album. it doesn't stand a chance when up against the classic anti-christ superstar and mechanical animals. with the english version having nineteen tracks, it became a week album rather than a value for money album. ...
