Advantages: Easy listening, enjoyable
Disadvantages: Songs may seem a little boring when first listening to them.

When i first bought the album, i wasn't quite sure what to except, after only hearing two songs. My friend recomended it to me, and from the first day i bought it, i couldn't stop listening to it. I listened to it at least once a day for a few months. I still occasionally listen to it now, but i can't wait for the next album! Advantages: Very easy to listen to, relaxing
Disadvantages: Not enough songs on the CD

Who are they? Have you ever heard of them? Thats what i said when i heard everybodys changing for the first time. I came home later that day had my dinner and went online and thought i'll buy that album, that sounded good. I'm glad i did because it was easily the best album i bought last year. Advantages: lovely music of this hopes and fears is realy good for u which will make u rock on the floor
Disadvantages: the disadvantage is that it is to expensive to buy

the music which is so good which rocks u and makes u a rocker it gives u new hope of life to live and gives u strenth and ur fear vanishes the music is first only so good and the lyrics of these songs are also very good the sound quality is also good the artist are the best who play so good music the guitaris sounds to be the master and the keyboardsit to played the keyboard very perfectly and the drumer was the outstanding in controling the beats ... Have to admit, as a Bjork fan, I was expecting a band that was first known for their lack of guitars as being breath of fresh air and at least something new from the UK indie scene. In my opinion Keane have seriously fallen short. Keane's sound is far from simple but it does manage to draw comparisons with Coldplay and unfortunately for Keane i dont think they will ever be able to compete. this band is amazing i couldnt believe it when i first heard them play, they just have that wow factor, and i love it!!! ...have made a sucess of Hopes and fears. I also think that this band is amazing live, as you think that some bands with catchty songs may not be very good live but i found that this band was great. I bought thishaving seen Keane live, i thought they sounded a bit different. This is highly recommeded to anyone! A great cd to have in the car. Songs such as tracks 2 and 9 and brilliant and upbeat, where as some of the tracks come across as depressing, however they have very powerful lyrics which you can relate to. This album makes very good first impression and after few more listenings every song is unique, however you'd recognize Keane's authentic approach to music. Every song is separate story but if this album was a book, it would make great collections of novels. Tom Chaplin's voice makes great deal of it, although music that Keane produce should be greatly considered as big asset to the album. They are not usual band that were born in post Brit-pop ... A great album from a great singer. If anyone has ever been hurt than there is much to identify with. Beware some songs seriously pull on the heart strings, but somehow there is still a strange compulsion to play it over and over again. I'd say there are three terrific songs on the album; Somewhere only I know; everybody's changing and bed shaped. Advantages: Range of songs, Catchy clever lyrics
Disadvantages: Some depressing/downbeat songs.

I enjoy listening to this album very much and the 3 piece of singer, piano and drums works very well. I enjoy nearly all of the songs on the album, but there are 1 or 2 which I don't think are so great. The lyrics are very well thought about and the singers voice is original which I think is always good. The album is great too listen to in the background or to relax to.
